Booking.com reservation made on May 12, 2024, for a stay from May 15, 2025, to May 18, 2025. On October 9, 2024, I received a message from Booking.com informing me that the hotel had made a pricing error, increasing the price by 640%, and suggesting we could reach an agreement by paying half of the new rate, which is still a 270% increase. I contacted Booking.com to accommodate the hotel, proposing to pay the same rate the hotel now lists as the base rate on Booking.com. I never received a response from Booking.com’s customer service to my proposal, and on October 13, 2024, my reservation was canceled without explanation. I want to clarify that I did not pay for an error but a rate that was half of the current rate. If I had paid 1 euro, it would have been obvious that it was an error. In one’s own home, one can do as they please and welcome whomever they choose, but here we are talking about a hotel.I don’t understand why the hotel keeps insisting that there was a mistake. The discount offered is on the new price for the week of the Eurovision festival. However, I booked well before the festival location was announced. I had also paid for the reservation. It took the hotel over three months to realize the rate was incorrect. I do not accept your apologies and will never stay there again. A paid service should not be canceled. If you were honest, you should have offered me the rate that exists in 2025 outside of Eurovision week. Don’t apologize, because I do not accept your apologies.

I chose this hotel purely for the location because Best Western was fully booked.Large room but with uninviting carpet... kitchenette with impractical plates, shower that sprayed everywhere.Let's say that for the price I expected something cleaner and of higher quality.Spectacular location... Weil am Rhein is a little paradise.

A bit tricky to find: you have to drive into the Rheincenter parking garage, the 24-hour reception is on the 6th floor. Cheap and good for transit. In the evening we enjoyed a bedtime beer on the roof terrace and a short walk over the Rhine bridge into France. Simple, solid and clean rooms, good breakfast buffet.

Nothing of the best in terms of cleanliness but in my case it was absolutely sufficient, the price wasn't high either, so you could still be satisfied. There was a small kitchen in the room, which is rarely the case in hotels, which can be useful but I didn't need it. The steam vent wasn't clean, there was a tiny smell in the room, it was a little stuffy, the fitted carpet wasn't very clean but well most hotels have fitted carpets for illogical reasons (a fad from the polluted states?) which isn't a smart idea because For example, almost no one in private households wants fitted carpets because of the expense and additional effort. The staff seems to be normally friendly and uncomplicated. Location is convenient and interesting. The building is quite large and therefore the inside looks a bit labyrinth-like but worth seeing. Terrace is always open to serious nicotine addicts like me, unfortunately.

Arrived at 4:30 am and Zain the night receptionist was very helpful indeed. Great to have easy access parking. Hotel not well sign posted. Look for Best Western as in same building.Clean and comfortable room. Relaxed and ready for onward journey.

A great stay, staff were very friendly and very helpful. Checking in was made very friendly and fun by the staff and we were able to order anything we wanted at the bar even late in the evening. …
