It was a nice room, very quiet. The service was great, we were the only guests and everything was still there. The operator was super friendly.Breakfast leaves nothing to be desired.Location was ok for us, it's just a shame that we couldn't find a restaurant in town. But then we drove further away.

Very remote with a very steep climbIf you are traveling by bike, you should look for other accommodation. Unfortunately, once you've overcome the incline, the only option is the pizza service. Even if we were informed about this in advance by the owner, it is not always advantageous to take a dinner break on the way there.Public transport is available, but almost only runs every 2 hours on weekdays. The rooms were functional, but at first glance they were more reminiscent of a youth hostel. The breakfast was good with regional products, eggs were freshly prepared in the desired variant.Attention if you pay on site: according to the notice, a surcharge will be charged for credit cards.

Small hotel in Nesselwangen on Lake Constance. There were 4 of us and we only requested the breakfast buffet. E-mail traffic was quick, very friendly and uncomplicated. The breakfast buffet is small but nice. There is something for everyone. Even a small selection of warm snacks.Gladly again!

My wife and I stayed at the Hotel am Kirchplatz from July 25th to August 1st. We were greeted by the hotel owner with a truly unnecessary rudeness that I have never experienced in my life. We had actually made our reservation on time and received a confirmation. And we were unpleasantly surprised and simply speechless. When I thanked him, as if in protest against this unfriendly reception, I received the answer: “Such communication, such a reception.”Since the hotel owner was not at the hotel during the day between 12 p.m. and 4 p.m., new guests apparently had to take their room key from a box opened with a code. He sent me an email with the code that was valid for us and received no response to that email. He said that it's all our fault since we didn't respond. The reason I didn't know about such an email is because we were constantly traveling domestically and internationally for the last 10 days before we arrived at the hotel.Let's get to the hotel. If your expectations are not too high, the hotel is fine. Our room was “cleaned” on 3 out of 7 days. We had to constantly ask for the coffee, which had to be in the room. Of course, if we got into the room late, it was unfortunately not possible to find anyone to ask for. Because there is no one in the hotel in the evening. Since the breakfast room was very small, we were asked to come later for breakfast when the hotel was full. The nice waitress who served in the breakfast room was only there for the first three days. On the other days we couldn't ask for eggs. Shouldn't a hotel owner be particularly friendly with such shortcomings? In short: would I choose this hotel again? No.
