I go there regularly for lunch. The quality of the dishes is remarkable, as is the quantity on the plate. Not to mention the pastries for dessert. The oldest/loyal ones may criticize the frequent price increases but that is the price to pay for having a nice setting (always decorated with paintings whose collections change every month) and very fast service (self-style).

As part of a school trip, I spent 3 nights at Ciarus with my class. It's a great youth hostel! The staff gave us a very friendly welcome and were always polite and helpful. Even in advance of the planning, the employees at the reception were extremely friendly and were always able to give me prompt answers to all of my questions (contact is always best done by email). One evening we were able to have a “lecture room” to ourselves and watch a film together (appropriate technical equipment and internet access available!). Otherwise, the Ciarus offers another lounge where you can play table tennis and table football, which our students really took advantage of.The location is also ideal in my opinion. We always walked to the city center (approx. 15-20 minutes) and the European Quarter (approx. 30 minutes) is also easy to reach on foot.Overall, I can really recommend Ciarus!

The canteen was really good but now it has become a basic canteen but more expensive than a restaurant. I spent around 30 euros for an adult and a child for really bad food. Boiled vegetables. Dry meat. Half a slice of pizza for my daughter. It's really overpriced for what it is. At this level it's a scam. Knowing that it's not a restaurant, therefore no service. You queue up with your tray. You sit where you can. You go get your water bottle and get rid of it. I will never set foot there again

It's hard for me to put into words the disgust I feel. The entire atmosphere is characterized by poor hygiene and a lack of quality. The staff seem listless and incompetent, while the food falls far short of expectations - it's more like cheap meals. Even the external impression of the building makes any anticipation disappear. Such an establishment is absolutely inappropriate and does not meet European standards.

Excuse me for my very harsh and unacceptable comment. I apologize as frank as a bird. But most students were very dissatisfied with the hotel rules, which are more severe.God consecrates house.

The hostel itself wasn't particularly bad. Both the bedroom and bathroom were clean. The downside is that eating is prohibited, perhaps because it is used for an event. The reason I gave it a low rating was because one of the reception staff was quite unpleasant and rude.It was a man with black hair and a bushy beard. Except for this man, the other employees were very, very friendly.I hope you get a massage with that guy when you check in ^^When I first arrived to check in, this man's attitude was irritated throughout the conversation and he was rude with every word he said to the point where I thought he had a grudge against me.Overall, the attitude was quite unpleasant, but the worst part was that I asked about using the bathroom before checking in, and the person spoke very quickly as if he was annoyed, so I couldn't hear the password. So I went back and asked what the password was, and they laughed and said, “I told you already.” That's the answer. Haha, you didn't hear that, so you're asking again..? My English pronunciation is not correct, so why do I have that attitude.. ㅇㅅㅇ?Would it be such a loss to answer that question again?I have no idea why, even though I am a receptionist, I always respond with sighs, annoyance, and contempt when responding to people I meet for the first time. What did I do wrong??

I have been to this hostel twice with my students for a school trip. I find it to be an excellent hostel, well kept and well organised. The spaces available are pleasant, the staff always available and friendly. The location of the hostel is one of its strong points: 15 minutes walk from the station and 15 from the old town. The neighborhood is quiet, the rooms are tidy and clean and the beds... very comfortable!! I will go back again, even privately.
