The hotel entrance, located in a side street, doesn't look inviting at first. The historical sign in the pedestrian zone looks better. However, the first impression is deceptive. Extremely friendly staff make your stay as pleasant as possible. I had an extremely quiet room equipped with every comfort. The hotel's central location in the city center makes it possible to go shopping or visit a pub on foot. Before departure you will be treated to a sumptuous breakfast. I would always stay at the Bären again.

I've been to a few hotels in my life and here, in comparison, they do a lot right.Rarely have I seen such nice staff that fulfills your every wish. I am a "permanent guest" through work and spend a total of almost 2 months here, which I really enjoyed.Rooms are clean, breakfast and café are optimal, staff are more than friendly and familiar, location is ideal, what more could you want.We recommend.

The hotel is located in the headquarters.The first evening was particularly loud, but soon everything was fine.I think it's a shame when a new guest gets an open bottle in the room.Breakfast was booked and is at a pleasant Swedish table.You can also book a garage as an option, otherwise parking spaces are quite limited.

Uniquely beautiful, bright and friendly hotel that leaves nothing to be desired.Even so-called celebrities and athletes have been guests here.The entrance alone is decorated with great attention to detail.The rooms are clean and good, even with a safe!The food and drink are top notch.

Very pleasant hotel in the center of Villingen.The room was clean and tidy, but a slightly older carpet was fine. Self check-in at the entrance works perfectly. Parking spaces are also available in garages.Minibar and snacks are centrally located on the 2nd floor and you can help yourself at any time.

Centrally located hotel.Actually everything was great, one point deducted because I think the reception closed too early (3 p.m.).If you arrive later, you should check whether the booking portal you booked through forwards the room code promptly.But the landlord was able to help me very well.

Super central yet quiet hotel with well-kept furnishings. Single rooms are spacious and the mattress is not saggy. There is a large bicycle garage. Self-checkin is easy and no problem. Ideal for a stopover on a bike tour in Villingen.

Very nice hotel and uncomplicated service. Everything was very clean and well preserved.Unfortunately, my mattress in my single room was far too soft for today's standards - perhaps even sagging.

Clean and functional room, good breakfast, special requests such as spelled rolls and oat milk were kindly fulfilled. You can book a garage, although it's very tight, but great if you live 250 m from the town hall.

Needed a short-term place to stay on the bike tour. It worked great, friendly service, great rooms, bikes locked in the garage with charging options. Right in the beautiful city center and still very quiet.
