K-Apart Hotel & Boardinghouse Hürth

Great hotel. We really enjoyed the night there. Plenty of parking spaces. Free parking. Very comfortable bed and modern decoration. The reception is closed after 9pm but there is a check in machine for late night arrival. I can highly recommend this hotel.

Needed a place for 2 adults and a baby in close proximity to the city of Cologne. Given we were spending a few days here this place ticked all the boxes - kitchen, space, parking, Wifi etc.. it was quiet and plenty of space for my son to run around. The TV also had you tube and other apps on it for entertainment. The kitchen came with a fridge which was also handy.The check in closes at 9pm but there is an ATM style machine on the wall that can do check in and even prints and issues the keys (this was the method I used). It was like something out of the matrix but really awesome and convenient 😃.There is a restaurant downstairs which offers a set price buffet breakfast in the mornings and then has a regular lunch and dinner menu and bar the rest of the day. We were too busy to use it though. So i cant comment on the food there.This place was very comfortable. The only downside was there was only 1 arm chair in the room and for 2 adults in there it would have been nicer to have a 2nd one (I did ask but it wasn't available). Secondly there were bugs that appeared in the bathroom at night time. We googled them and it came up as silverfish. We read although they dont bite humans they can be pests and cause problems for buildings and they quickly become an infestation. I saw one crawl on my bag so before leaving i had to fully unpack our bags and go through everything to make sure we had no 'unwanted travellers' with us. And thirdly, the room was super hot during the day time and although there was a tower fan provided there was no air-conditioning. So we spent a lot of time out of the room because it made it very uncomfortable in there. For some reason the bathroom was even hotter.. the equivalent of walking into a dry sauna.It took about 15mins to travel to the part of Cologne I needed to be in via car and about a 10 min drive to the nearest shops. The closest laundry facilities were a 20minute drive away. To note if you're not from Cologne and you're driving your own car. You will need a green low emissions tag to put in your window or risk getting a fine from the police. You can get it from some dealerships and car repair places. Some hotels might be able to assist you. Unfortunately this one couldn't so we had to go finding a way to get one.So to sum up, we would stay here again. We would just be more prepared. Recommend for business travellers, families and couples.

We stayed here when we visited Phantasialand, and it was just few minutes drive away. Major point that I like about the hotel is that it is very clean. I love how modern and minimalist the room is, and very straightforward. The information clerk was very kind as well. Breakfast was good.

Stayed at the hotel side.Plus points:- big room- big fridge- clean, modern, stylish- near phantasialand (20min by car)- complete breakfast with plenty of varietyMin points:- when showering, water will spill over to the rest of the bathroom, but that's something they can easily fixBreakfast is 13.50pp. It doesn't look like much when you first come in, but it had various cold meats, cheeses, fruit, cereals, etc.I'd definitely stay there again, given the chance.

Very nice and humbly priced hotel. Nice free parking. Neat modern rooms. Good WIFI. Breakfast is worth 15$ I recommend.

Nice hotel. Rooms well appointed a little on the small size but manageable . Staff are great very friendly and helpful especially in the restaurant. Breakfast range is ok not missing much . It’s close to where I was working so location was fine if you have work in the area otherwise central Cologne is not too far away. Would stay again

We went there to celebrate the new year. We were gladly surprised by what we saw there. The location might not be the favourite for people who prefer to stay at city centre, but if you are searching for some good sleeping quality, this place is perfect. It's five minutes walk from the train station. Located in a quite neighbourhood. The rooms are spacious, the family rooms its own kitchen. Bathrooms are very clean. The Hotel have Bio- nature/environmental friendly policy.

We were pleasantly surprised by the k-apart hotel. The room was spacious and modern, very clean and well cared for. Nice and quiet despite the amount of traffic on the road outside. Staff were friendly and helpful.  …
