A colleague and I stayed here for two days and nights while attending a business meeting and training course with a local company. I can't accurately comment on the value as this was already paid for and I didn't see the bill. …

Upon arrival, the woman received us at the counter was not pleasant. didn't speak with us in english, in contrast with other tourists who spoke English spoke pretty well.||Very outdated rooms. 50's. the shower room is very large but outdated tiles. The beds made noise.||Good breakfast but sitting at long tables like a hostel.

Unfortunately I cannot recommend this hotel. I used to work in the catering and hotel industry myself and therefore know what I'm talking about. In my room there was still urine from the guest in front of me in the toilet, which I find totally disgusting and it wasn't yellow cleaning agent either. The toilet lid was simply folded down so that you couldn't see it straight away. I then disinfected all surfaces with disinfectant wipes. The service was even worse. The app says the meal times are from 12 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Half an hour before the end of the meal, the ladies begin to set the tables in an extremely determined manner, even in a snotty, bitchy and irritable manner, so that they can set them up again straight away. It happened to me three times that my cutlery and drinks were taken away and cleared away before I had even finished eating, which is very rude. I don't understand the point of it, because if I notice that my cutlery and drinks have disappeared while I'm getting another portion of food, the staff will have to spend more time instead of less if they then have to do all the cutlery and crockery again I have to re-release what was hastily taken away from me. So twice the work. Some of the employees don't seem to smile at all. I have addressed this behavior on the part of the staff twice, unfortunately nothing has improved. That's why I would say that I gave the ladies the chance to improve something. Unfortunately, the service concept and customer orientation are completely missing here. Here you don't feel welcome, but rather a nuisance. The ladies apparently only care about getting through their schedule and getting out on time in the evening. As for the food, the usual gastro tricks like mushrooms pickled in oil that last for weeks and lots of frozen and canned goods. Little fresh food. As I said, I used to work in the catering and hotel industry myself and so I know the schedules and yes, I also know that there is a staff shortage in this industry right now. But staff shortages in the industry and schedules to meet cannot be an excuse for no longer cleaning the toilets. I will never come here again because this experience was a real disgrace for me. That's why I expressly DO NOT recommend this hotel.

Was there at the weekend. Unfortunately I didn't take any photos in the bathroom. The toilet seat was yellow. The rooms have a 60-year flair. The food was great and the service was also sufficient for seminars. But I wouldn't take a longer vacation there.

I had a room on the second floor and felt like I was in the 60s. There was a silverfish tin under the bedside table. I don't find something like that pleasant as a guest.

Typical conference and meeting center, beautifully located near the Rhine. Appropriately furnished, signage when looking for a room is sometimes confusing and cumbersome. Staff very customer oriented and competent. Quite a large parking lot available. Prices are reasonable, the food at the buffet offers a fairly large selection and is of very good quality.
