Where does one start.... an absolute gem of a hotel, the ultimate in intimate and boutique style. You are treated as a special guest from the moment you arrive. The room was super clean and beautiful and the bed was amazing. We had dinner and breakfast at the restaurant which was wonderful and more so if you can be seated on the outdoor balcony with amazing views. If you are passing anywhere near Bonn, then this place is a must.

A beautiful hotel with great service and an incredibly friendly host. The rooms are really beautifully decorated. Due to an unfortunately unplanned extended stay, we had the opportunity to live in several rooms and each room is furnished with so much detail and incredibly lovingly and is very clean. Throughout the house you are greeted with a pleasant and great smell and then given a really warm welcome by the host. The hotel is incredibly flexible and gave us a really warm welcome. An unplanned extension was also no problem. We received an upgrade both times and were completely thrilled. The breakfast was also sufficient and very tasty. The small town of Blankenberg is really worth a trip and the hotel is a highlight there.

The newly renovated hotel is located in a nice authentic town on top of a hill. We had a wonderful mini holiday less than a three-hour drive from the border. The hotel is located in a beautiful area (Siebengebirge) for walking. The room was lovely. Nice bed, nice shower. Coffee, tea and water. It all made me feel very welcome. In the morning you have breakfast in the old school a little further away. You can do it on foot! Beautiful view there and a very friendly atmosphere. The new restaurant in the hotel will also open in October 2024. That's nice because we were there on a Tuesday evening and there is nothing nice open in the area. There will probably be a little more commotion around the weekend and the beautiful Gaststatte in the town will also be open. The hotel with its friendly and enthusiastic owners is highly recommended!

We had a very pleasant stay. The hotel left no wishes unfulfilled and nothing was missing. The breakfast in the old school was more than rich, fresh and very well prepared. Also full marks for the friendly staff.

We had a very nice stay in this carefully and lovingly restored house. However, the restaurant is currently not open and the terrace is deserted. Unfortunately, we didn't get off to a good start: when I arrived on my bike completely sweaty, there was no “welcome - can I offer you some water first” or anything like that. Instead, a long check-in procedure. I would have expected that I would be able to freshen up briefly. The same employee was visibly annoyed when I asked for a cushion for the patio seating later that day. So at first I didn't really feel welcome and had the feeling that I was somehow being a nuisance. This feeling was facilitated by the fact that the house only recently opened and somehow doesn't seem quite finished yet. However, communication with everyone else in the house and in the nearby breakfast café was very friendly and accommodating. Our junior suite and a deluxe room, which we were kindly upgraded to, were a bit dark and significantly smaller than expected, the ceiling quite low. The lighting could be better; the rooms are tastefully and comfortably furnished. Despite the small limitations described, I would overall rate the price-performance ratio as above average.I thought it was great that you can find a hiking backpack in the rooms and use it. Nice idea. The breakfast at the weekend was very good and balanced! Traveling by train or S-Bahn from Cologne is easy. We were offered a luggage transfer and were thankfully able to check in very early.Overall we had three lovely and relaxing days there. You can go on wonderful little hikes. The village and castle are particularly pretty and there are several options for eating out. When the restaurant in the hotel opens in autumn, there will be even more :-)I wish the operators a good start!

From the warm welcome from the owner, to the beautiful and cozy room in the newly renovated half-timbered house, to the delicious breakfast in the Old School Café with a view of the surrounding area, the Hotel Von Landsberg gave us a wonderful stay. I stay in a lot of hotels for work, but the Von Landsberg was my highlight of the last few months. The rooms are very elegantly furnished, there is a minibar with many regional drinks and the staff was consistently friendly and very accommodating. We wish the owners continued success with their projects and look forward to our next visit!

We were at the hotel opening yesterday. The hotel has been beautifully designed by the new owners Sebastian and David with great attention to detail. The rooms are stylishly furnished and the old half-timbering has been beautifully preserved and gives the house a special charm. This also makes the restaurant wonderfully cozy. You can take a wonderful walk in the historic old town of Blankenberg or go on longer hikes in the surrounding area in beautiful nature. There are also hiking backpacks in the rooms.Part of the hotel is the “Old School Café”, where hotel guests can have breakfast and, when the weather is good, they can sit on the wonderful terrace with a view of the countryside. We will definitely come back for an overnight hiking holiday :)

My stay included two consecutive nights. The hotel has a historical part and a more modern extension. The old building exudes its period charm in many corners. Details invite you to admire. The hotel bar is friendly and leaves nothing to be desired. My room was wonderfully decorated. Great play of colors, combining old with new. All technology is state of the art. The smells in the rooms are unimaginably pleasant. The beds are a bit firmer than other hotels, but I would like to emphasize that this is more of a gain than a loss. I slept like I was on cloud nine. The rooms have coffee machines, kettles, backpacks and umbrellas. After consulting the friendly staff at the house, a shoehorn, iron and ironing board will follow soon.In general, the employees were always friendly and extremely service-oriented. Every possible wish was fulfilled. This was also evident in the very pleasant breakfast buffet in the old school café. All common comforts could be eaten there with pleasure. If something was missing, no problem, it was filled in with a smile on your face.Check in/out went smoothly using a “web app”I'll definitely be back.
