Amazing hotel. World class food, friendly helpful dront desk, excellently kept clean & the bartender José is the best expert with specialty cocktails like espressso martinis and cosmopolitans not too sweet or too strong!

The food was excellent. My boyfriend and I were surprised at the quality of food provided at affordable prices. We arrived at 6:30pm before the other guests. We were seated right away. Our server was a young beautiful German girl. I ordered carpaccio and Steve went to the salad bar. As the guests entered, we noticed that they were seated at the far end of the restaurant. Ok. I asked our server for bread. I expected a bread basket with herb butter. Instead, we received 4 slices of bread on a plate, no butter. Ok. I was relishing in my German heritage paying no attention to Steve, my Jewish boyfriend. More guests came in. They were seated far away from us. Ok. I'm oblivious. Steve mentions that he likes the restaurant but that he feels uncomfortable here. I don't know what he's talking about. We're from America. I've never experienced antisemitism. We've spent over a week in Germany amongst the most kind and wonderful people. Ok. The restaurant is full now and no one is sitting next to us. They've all been seated at the far end of the restaurant. Steve loses a tooth, a crown, while eating ice cream. What? I'm German. What's going on?...no bread basket, seated away from the other guests and losing a tooth? I hope it was just my imagination. Bad vibes for me. I left angry. I will not be returning to this restaurant.
