After reading the reviews, I nearly decided to not go to the hotel and just drive home in the middle of the night (500km).I am so happy I went to the hotel to check! I’m in room 45 and it is totally fine.Yes the floor has not seen a broom in a while, but there is no smell, no lice, no bugs. The shower and sink are clean. The bed and sheets are clean. The towels are clean. The bed has a nice matras and the room is super quiet. The shared bathroom was clean too.It is not a 5-star hotel, but it is much much better than everyone is desrcibing. It truly is fine. I am a woman and did not feel afraid at all! Please just go and check it out. In all honesty, I would rate it I think 3 out of 5 stars. It is the cheapest in the whole city and the price quality compared to the room quality is perfectly fine.It is not how people describe it below, at least not room 45, totally ok the room. I would stay here again.

I'm really not the type of person to write bad reviews, but I'll make an exception with a heavy heart. Still, I'll start with the positives: the hotel staff are very friendly and the location is impeccable, literally two minutes' walk from Hamburg central station, however...The place is terribly dirty. The floor hasn't seen a broom in ages, the bathrooms - because there's no toilet inside the rooms - are shared and equally dirty. The rooms smell bad and my bed in the first room I stayed in - because I had to change - had bed frames missing. Broken lift, clearly pointless furniture, old and broken and all extremely uncomfortable. It was a last minute hotel that I had to accept on an exceptional basis for three nights, but I would honestly never go back. I'd rather not travel than stay here again and that's pretty sad because with a bit of organization and cleaning it could be a great hotel.

There was no toilet in my hotel room. There were only 2 toilets in the lobby of the hotel, and this hotel did not feel safe. The lobby is very creepy at night. At night, I woke up because I heard someone trying to break into my hotel room. He kicked the door many times. The elevator did not work. Butt the price is cheap. ONLY STAY HERE IF YOU CAN'T FIND A HOTEL WITHIN 2KM OF THE TRAIN STATION!!!!!!.

DON'T GO TO THIS PLACE!!! I don't even want to call it "hotel", super dirty and disgusting. When we arrived, they said the sink of room that we booked is broken, so we have to change to a double beds room, then elevator is broken too, we have to carry luggage to 5th floor. Then the room is super small and dirty, dust everywhere windows are also broken, can't close it well and we heard so many noise from outside, people's shouting, all the traffic etc. Not mention about the shared bathroom (outside of your room) super smelly, the toilet is dark brown ish color and the shower you couldn't even want to look, full of hairs and dirty used towel on the floor. I don't really know how long they clean the room and bathroom, it seems not at all.... This is the most terrible hotel experience that I had in my life so far... The photos are NOT accurate at all.

Good location close to the train station and the Binnen Alster. Rooms could have been a bit more clean but I stayed there only for one night. Wifi was not stable. It's a budget place but all in all: good price/value ratio

Do not come to this hotel unless you hate yourself. Almost everything that can go wrong has gone wrong in this hotel. No light in room, clogged plumbing and a manager who dose not care about people staying or working there. This is not a hotel it is a disgrace.

This is a hotel to sleep in and nothing else, which is normally fine. But the rooms are small, dated and thrown together. They had squeezed an extra bed into our room which made a small room even smaller. No en suite. Communal toilets and showers are pretty standard in a lot of German hotels, which is fine, but keep this in mind when considering booking this hotel.

OK for a last minute, single night stay if you are desperate. There were blood stains on my duvet cover, the floor of our room was covered with muck like it had never been vacuumed. Our room had a shower but the glass faced directly onto the beds, not great for sharing with my Dad. Like the rest of the hotel the toilets are small and poorly maintained, only one toilet for each floor. I never saw the same staff member twice, every night a different receptionist. When we asked for more milk at breakfast the staff added water to the milk jug and said "there you go". When we asked for actual milk, and more hot water for tea, he got angry like we were being unreasonable. He then only brought enough water for two cups, even though there were 5 of us eating. When we came home last night there were police in the lobby who then started banging on doors all through the hotel.
