This is a clean place with shared bathroom facilities. I had to go to Sleephotels Cosmos to check in but once that was completed all was good. There are lots of shops around the corner and a supermarket over the road after a short walk. The room was quiet and comfortable. Well worth a visit and stay.

The biggest plus of this accommodation is location: super close to the metro and you can reach the central station on foot. We stayed in a double room with a private bathroom, the room is very warm, the heating works without problems, there were no interruptions in the supply of hot water either. The room is not well equipped for a comfortable stay of guests, I, as a person who worked in tourism, hotel and restaurant business over 10 years, I evaluate my accommodation not only as a guest, but also from a professional point of view: there is no closet for coats or cabinet for shoes in the corridor, just an empty corridor, that is, when you enter, you have nowhere to leave your outerwear/bag/backpack; there is a shelf in the room where you can leave outerwear, but there are no hangs; a bed without any cover and the mattress itself is not covered with a mattress pad, which is not very hygienic; there are no dishes of any kind in the room, no glasses, no cups, no kettle, that is, when you return to the room in the evening, you will not have the opportunity to drink tea or coffee or if you need to take some medicine as a powder for example, you won’t be able to do that; carpet in the room is dirty, you can still close your eyes for the stains, but itself carpet is not the clean and you want to wear some kind of changeable shoes so as not to walk barefoot, but they are also not provided (even the cheapest one time wearing slippers); the mattress on the bed is probably old and doesn't hold its shape, when you go to sleep you just fall into a hole in the middlemattress, PEOPLE WITH BACK DISEASES definitely do not recommend this room. The bathroom is also completely unequipped for use: the room is equipped with a bathtub, not a shower cabin, but there is no curtain in the bathroom, that is, while taking a bath, all the water falls on the floor, but you have no way to clean it, you are left with two towels for each person (a big one and small one), and nothing for the bathroom floor; towels do not look old or torn, but do not have the smell of freshness, more some weird smell.I wouldn’t recommend this hotel.

Room was nice for a night's stay. However the location is very noisy and I couldn't fully close the window. For the price I can't complain.

The reception and actual hotel are at different locations. This is only mentioned all the way at the bottom of the confirmation mail of your booking. You get an automatic message from the hotel explaining 19h00 is the latest to check without any mention of the reception location. After 19h00 an additional 50€ will be charged. Looking at other reviews, many people face this issue, which makes me suspect they do this on purpose. We for example had to call the hotel multiple times before we even got an answer after spending an hour looking for the hotel in the first place. Reception staff is not that helpful or friendly.Once you have found the reception location and afterwards the hotel location, you can't let yourself be thrown off by the ugly and dirty façade of the building (this is why you don't find a picture of it online). Once tot enter the building, it's very nice, clean and well maintained. The room is very big and beautiful. Everything you need is present, giving you a very comfortable hotel experience in the end. Would have rated the hotel 5/5 if it hadn't been such a hard job on finding the right location!

The reception is on an other location and the hotel is im a building with normal citizens. That's why no rules were followed. A bunch of young people came at 4:00 in the morning and made noise, listened to loud music and we could hear everything. I couldn't sleep and was pretty scared and stressed. A great way to ruin your trip. The room was pretty clean but if you look carefully you could find some dirt. And the toilets could be cleaner . The location though is perfect but really no quality. Good for some 18yo .Not recommend. Not even for 1 night.

Booked online via booking.com and requested checking between 9-10 pm in the dropdown. Got a message after booking was confirmed that it was not possible to check in after 19. Where not able to cancel though. Emailed and wrote back explaining we where catching a ferry and could not arrive earlier but no reply.Arrived and found the check-in location at another hotel but the clerk said the owner comes and takes the keys at 19.Avoid at all costs, no responses and completely rediculous checking policy.

ABSOLUTELY AVOID THIS PLACE. They cancelled a 5 nights booking because of a 40min delayed check in, for which they were informed hours earlier, but never responded to our email or answered any phone calls we've made. We felt like we were robbed. They stole us 340€. Plus the cost of finding another hotel to spend our time in Hamburg.

Not worth the heartache. The room is quite nice, cheap and clean but it’s a serviced apartment that is run by another hotel that only has reception until 7pm. I booked it 2 months in advance and emailed if it was ok to check in late as our plane arrives at 9pm. We didn’t receive a reply and I forgot to check as I was booking a multi-country holiday. The description also wasn’t clear about the strict check in times. When we realised a week before our arrival it was very hard to get in touch with the hotel. The actual apartment just has an answering machine. You have to call the Sleep hotel around the block to organise keys for the place. The staff were not very helpful at all and seemed upset. Luckily we had a friend in Hamburg who could pick up the keys for us. She said there was blood near the building doorway when she was shown the room. Fortunately it was cleaned up before we arrived. The worse part was on our last day we found a Spanish guy waiting out the front of the apartment at 10pm who had no idea about the 7pm check in restriction. He had to find somewhere else to stay that night and sad we couldn’t help him. I wish I read all the earlier reviews. Our friend also said it’s not a safe area due to the drug dealers. We had no trouble during our stay but a local did warn us...

I booked and paid for three nights. I missed the small print and checking in before 7pm - my bad.I emailed them to say I would be there on day 2. When I arrived on the second day they told me the booking was cancelled because I failed to arrive on the first day and refused to refund any money.Research on "Trip Advisor" suggests my experience is far from uniqueI have complained to the Hamburg Tourist Office - it will be interesting to see if I get a reply

I booked the room for three days. I arrived at 11pm, no one is there, I called the number and he said nobody could come, so I had to find another hotel at that time. It's my fault, I arrived too late and I have no problem with that. But, I called the guy next day and tried to cancel the booking for the next two days; He said no, the money is lost and could not be returned......I don't have such experience before, thanks for the unforgettable memory!
