Room simply furnished. There was a TV but it couldn't be used because everything was over the internet and there was hardly any connection. Shared pool ok. The double bunk bed is unsuitable for taller people, especially at the bottom. It's very easy to hit your head.

Clean and quiet is something else. Relatively remote, but very well connected to public transport. You share a bathroom and kitchen. The kitchen is a niche in the hallway. The hallway smelled like garbage the whole time. The toilets were always damp and brown, the shower had mold. The walls are very thin and the house is noisy.Maybe the house is more suitable for a shared apartment than a hostel. In any case, you don't get much for your money. But the room itself was fine. The bed is impeccable. You have to check your priorities. If you just want to sleep here, it's fine for a day or two.

All in all it was good. We were there for one night because we took a plane from Hamburg Airport in the morning. It's easy to talk to the host and he gave us lots of tips on where to eat. That was highly recommended. The price-performance ratio was great! We booked with Booking for 5 people and paid just €60. You can't complain about that. Of course it's not the latest, but it didn't bother me either. Except the mattress on the bed was pretty hard, which bothered me personally, but everyone is different.I would still book it again if I fly from Hamburg. We drove 12 minutes to the airport.

Easily accessible by public transport. Welcoming host, who gave tips and helpful.Unfortunately, WIFI was overloaded and the door sensor no longer worked in 1 of the rooms. The beds and pillows could have been a little better.Ideal for short visits.

Very nice people there. Great for a few nights to sleep. You have everything you need...also a lot of activity. Our beds felt a bit unstable. Otherwise there wasn't much to complain about. Maybe it was just that in the evening (10:30 p.m.) it got a little louder....new guests....who had to look at everything, etc. Otherwise, we can recommend it. If you just want to spend the night there.

The cot mattress was encrusted with dog hair!!! Scandalized... and the baby mattress sheets were stained in different places. A horrible smell of cigarettes in the room. Mold on the windows...The bathroom, toilet and kitchen facilities are quite clean.

I had to find somewhere to stay in an emergency and chose the hostel primarily because of its proximity to the Albertinen Hospital. I booked a double room with a loft bed for around €45. It's more like a house over 2 floors. Check-in is contactless using the appropriate codes that you receive via email, with the busy kitchen waiting for you right behind the front door, but that's okay for a hostel. I was aware of the bad reviews. My conclusion is that there is no quiet retreat there. For people who are on a city trip, partying or extraverted, the hostel is certainly a better place. Someone wrote in a review "Absteige", which I find quite harsh, but I understand how one comes to that conclusion. Admittedly, my insight was quite limited in terms of time and location. It is very noisy and the rooms are directly adjacent to the kitchen. I closed the door to the kitchen once, but the others didn't keep it closed. It is also very difficult to move. But the rooms are also very noisy.Unfortunately, my room wasn't that clean (especially the floor, see photos). I sent an email on the evening of arrival, but was subsequently dismissed in an unfriendly manner and with no further desire to communicate. My email was late (but I also arrived late), I needed peace and quiet and didn't want anyone in my room in the evening, but a financial concession or at least an apology would have been appropriate. There is always an employee on site, but I couldn't clearly identify them. There is a TV in front of the window in the room, so you can't ventilate properly. The loft bed is wobbly and squeaky, there is no ceiling lamp but a small table lamp next to the door and a floor lamp that you have to plug in yourself. The café costs €2 and not €1 as advertised on the poster above. This should be updated. There are two kitchenettes, but I haven't started anything with them, so I can't comment on the equipment.Specifically, I would like criticism to be dealt with constructively and for the rooms to be checked again before the guests arrive. It seemed as if the room had simply not been used for a while and then dirt had accumulated. The price-performance ratio is not that optimal.

If only I had read the reviews beforehand. Nicer rooms were shown on the portal where I booked. Of course you shouldn't expect that much, but well I didn't expect THAT. My room looked horrible. The floor is bad, the window sill is dirty. The blind just lay there. The plate coasters dirty. You just expected something different based on the pictures. Cheap double bunk bed, the room reminded me more of a cell. An older man who was visibly drunk was sitting on the terrace, which made me feel even more insecure. (He didn't do anything, was polite but it's still not nice). The kitchen and bathroom were all clean, except for the bathtub/shower, which didn't look nice anymore.I can't say much about the service, I received all the information I needed via email in a timely manner. Nevertheless, I went straight back out and looked for new accommodation.

It's a solid accommodation. We received the dial-in details in good time on the day of arrival. The biggest drawback is the lack of soundproofing in the entire house.
