I was staying on the second floor. The room was pretty clean, it wasn’t loud at night either. The shower rooms and toilets were very nice and clean, there were a couple of them, so you didn’t have to wait in line to take a shower. It was convenient that there were separate rooms with a shower and toilet in each of them. The people at the reception were helpful. The shared spaces, like the wait areas, kitchen, etc, were pretty neat.I liked that they offered free coffee and tea. There is no curfew either.

We stayed for two nights at his hostel, it was clean and did the job for our trip. As a female, I thought privacy for shower and toilet rooms was under prioritised - and for the men’s facilities too! The doors didn’t close, only pulled shut by a small latch. The main entrance door to the showers and toilets was always open, and when I did close it, after leaving the shower it was opened again, facing the other rooms. The women’s showers were timed to seven seconds…. Which as any female will know is ridiculous. More on privacy, the main access door to the hostel on the second floor was always unlocked. Everyone gets an “access key” who stays there, but multiple times outside of reception hours, the door was open and did not require a key fob. This unsettled me greatly as the area was busy with lots of drinking and social life. The kitchen facilities were dirty and unorganised, with a lack of emphasis on maintaining a tidy space. The rooms themselves, we stayed an 8-person room, were generally clean, all occupiers were nice and agreeable, but even then the doors weren’t locked by all people. It seemed like an unspoken agreement to leave it all unlocked. It fitted our needs, but I will not be staying again.

This hostel, although quite far from the city center, is located in a very lively neighbourhood and is easily accessible by subway. ||The female and LGBTQIA+ friendly dormitories have their own floor, so it is very safe. The rooms are very nice and clean, I felt like I was at camp!

Nice smallish hostel in a lively area. Staff and other guests were lovely and helpful. Anything you want staff will try and help you. Rooms were basic but comfy and quiet, kitchen area for cooking and free tea & coffee. You can pick your own bed in the room instead of being assigned one like in most hostels. Would stay here again if I came back to Hamburg.

Great customer service and comfortable beds aswell as a spacious recreational area to relax and a decent kitchen. Even though the location isn't exactly central, it is in a nice lively area with lots to do with a train station less than 10 minutes walk away with trains going to the central station. Overall very pleased

Location is ok ok , however not in the city centre but takes 15-20 mins to reach the city centre, connectivity is good - BUS, U-Bahn, S-Bahn.The rooms have no ventilation, you need to open the window, if you open the window then take EAR PLUGS with you.The room where I stayed had no locks on Locker, take your small lock with you.TOILET n WASHROOMs are clean.Since I booked via one platform and was not given an option of choosing my stay less than 3 nights ( while others could stay for 1 Night too 🙄) On trying to bargain from one of the non regular Receptionist, I got a reply that " Ok, book somewhere next time where you are not forced for fixed nights booking" For sure Because of that lady's attitude I will NOT recommend this HOSTEL. However, I also had to wait for 1 hour on arrival for my room 🙄Just because of one attitude employee the raiting us now 1 star only ...

They try to give an eye on the details like offering drinks and hygienics as well as free tea/coffee and a relatively cozy common area, but the rooms are not the very best. Bit dirty and old beds, you have to put on the bed linen by yourself, if you're unlucky loud room neighbours; but very nice service with free luggage storage. No breakfast, but refrigerators and a kitchen for making your personal stuff. Free WiFi is ok.All in all good for the price, but could be better.Service team was great, though.
