During my stay at Sleephotels Hamburg, I faced significant issues with refund requests and customer service. My refund request was ignored, and all attempts to contact management were disregarded. This highlighted a lack of customer understanding and professionalism, leading to deep personal disappointment. I believe that a company's handling of complaints and refunds reflects its true attitude towards customers. Sleephotels Hamburg needs to urgently improve its approach to ensure better experiences for future guests.P.S. Their rooms smell horrible, and there are a lot of unhygienic people that you encounter on the entrance

We recently made a reservation for Sleep Hotel Casino Hamburg on 27.07.2024 while we were there. After checking the confirmation mail we found out that the booking was made on a wrong date, it was in August instead of July. We quickly tried to cancel it (1 minute after making the reservation) but on the website it said that it was not possible to cancel. We then went to Sleep Hotel Casino Hamburg and spoke with the reception there to ask if they can switch the reservation for July 27th instead of August but they were booked out. They later told us that they will cancel the reservation for August and we will a refund for the paymentWe did not leave anyone in a difficult situation. We made a momentary mistake and chose the wrong date. The reservation was for 3 weeks later and They could have given the room to someone else. They did not refund our money because we canceled the reservation. They did not have any available rooms on the date that suited us. They did not offer any alternative. This is illegal profit making and is not ethical at all. They did not refund our money and never answer us

Great hotel! Big room with lot’s of space and a huge window. Perfect location at Reeperbahn. Nice view from the room. Very good value. The check-in process was very slow, it’s my only negative part of the experience.

We booked a room for 2 nights, and on the second night, neither of our key cards worked. The room service staff finally opened the room for us in the morning! We could sleep in our room. There was no one to call, and we didn’t receive any apology from the hotel!

Horrible customer service. Never reply to emails or can help over the phone. Even booking.com says they cannot get in contact with this hotels management. I’ve never been there but am trying to change dates for a booking.

Worst place ever. Located directly above a 24hr bar. Corridors to rooms very dark. Would hate to see what they looked like with the lights brighter.

I'm not sure what angry lady everybody kept complaining about but I was checked in by some charming Habibi. The room was very clean and tidy and I had a window that opened into the main street. I'm not sensitive to noise but I wore earplugs at night just to make sure. The only complaint I had was the room was cold. There is a small heater for a big space. The front desk Habibi brought up an extra blanket and that was just plain nice. The TV didn't work but it wasn't a biggie. I just like background news whilst I'm scrolling.

After months of reading poor reviews I was very optimistic about this place, but we went ahead with it. What a surprise it was! Lovely and clean, on arrival we were greeted by a lovely lady (didn’t get her name) who was recommending places for us to go and places to eat. Absolutely no issues on that front.Rooms were relatively big we had two double beds for 4 lads, we didn’t mind sharing. Rooms were spotless, we had an issue in our bathroom which made the bathroom absolutely stink of raw sewage. But we didn’t complain about this as we had no plans to be staying in the room, it was just purely for sleeping. I would recommend you taking ear plugs, the noise from the pubs outside and police sirens is enough to keep the dead awake it was unbearable. But again we kinda knew what we were getting into so we prepared for it, the beer helped to sleep.I wouldn’t touch this hotel if I was travelling with children or young children, the area has a lot to answer for that and isn’t the hotels fault. But ensure you do your research before booking this hotel, it’s not a holiday hotel it’s a stag do hotel really and that is exactly what it works for.
