I have been to many hotels, this was probably the worst I have experienced in a long time. The hotel is in a shady neighborhood, a lot of noise and disturbance from the street. The hotel itself has an incredibly strong smell of smoke, both in the hallway and in the room itself, it was almost difficult to breathe through the strong smell. You share the toilet with the rest of your hallway, so there is a lot of noise in the hallway in the evening.

First of all, the location of the hotel is not in the safest area. Though the police regulates the streets at all times, I did not feel too safe. …

Pretty terrible part of Hamburg. Rooms are adequate for 1-2 nights, but not worth it for a full week. At least it's clean-ish in the room. Be somewhat street wise, and you're probably okay here. They only give one set of keys, so if you're travelling in a party, this will be tough to make work.

The location is unsafe but the staff and local law enforcement agencies are patroling there. Great rooms! Nice and kind service very recommended!

We stayed here for two nights (Friday and Saturday). The hotel is nothing special but it's also not as awful (in my opinion) as the other reviews might suggest. I'd break down my experience as follows:||Positives:||1. …

We arrived in Hamburg late night without reservations, only to everything was booked! The Nord Hotel kept us from sleeping in the train station. Our room was clean, quiet & cheap. There is no elevator and the bathroom is down the hall. …

As a whole this was quite an experience, that I am not going to repeat, ever again! The hotel demanded a cash deposit of 30 euros for the room keys. The room smelled like a storage for dirty clothes. …

We were looking for a hotel near Hamburg Hauptbahnhof and we found this hotel more economic than the other ones. Actually, if you will use the hotel only for sleep and you are a deep sleeper, this hotel is worth to stay. …

At this price (double room for 75 €) I don't expect much. You get what you pay for after all. But this was a disappointment still. While the room was clean, the shower was not (a bunch of hair was stuck to a hard to clean corner next to the shower door), some things were only half functional, toilet paper had nearly run out one afternoon and the overall atmosphere was creepy. I wish I could state better things here!

Apart from the location 2 mins walk from the main train station, this hotel was pretty terrible. My room was less than 8 m2 with shabby quality of sink and cupboards. The first other occupant I saw on arrival was a mouse. No joke. …
