Hotel is clean, staff is friendly, room is quiet; we had adequate provisions to accommodate the clothes for our family of four.Breakfast is good, but the dining room still has potential for improvement: The area where the food is arranged has poor illumination, does not give a good impression. The guest tables are well illuminated, but the lights look ugly and the way they are suspended from the ceiling is awkward - probably they shall have a resemblance with a ship-interior, but still the design is just not appealing. In addition, the lights are rather low and heavy - it is possible that a kid's head when being carried by a tall parent accidentally could hit such a light and suffer serious head injury. There are some sound absorbing measures in the dining room and music was low in the background, which certainly is a plus as it permits communication while eating. We had booked more than a week - it did not give us a good feeling that one night was appr. 100 EUR more expensive than another - the service was no better during the 'expensive' night! One bedside light did hot have a lamp; the other had a damaged lamp. Light switches near the beds and outlets for charging the phones are much appreciated. In our room was a bunk bed, the rungs of the ladder are considered to be too narrow - that is painful to the feet when climbing up and down.

We paid 322 eur total for two nights including parking, which admittedly is not top dollar but also not cheap considering the very simple hostel like rooms and no breakfast. Rooms are large and the location is good.Interactions with multiple staff members were however unfriendly and they treated us like we were two high schoolers (we're 25 & 26).

Location wise I think it's pretty good. It's easy to get there and access and the area has several places to visit and go to. The rooms were clean and well distributed. Showers and bathrooms were inside and separated (and clean), which was very nice. The downside came a bit to the walls, one can hear pretty much everything from the other rooms. Here I would like to note that the night service was wonderful and very very friendly (we were told he is almost always working at nights, so if you encounter a friendly gentlemen it's him). The service during the afternoon shift on the other hand was a bit nonchalant and sadly made some mistakes when checking us in and we had to go to separate rooms sadly.

A very nice Hotel/Hostel located around 10 minutes from the Altona Bahnhof in Hamburg.Extremely polite staff, nice rooms at reasonable rates and they even have the bathroom and toilet separate so there is no rush in the morning like usual if there are a lot of people. There's also a public gym available near by and free parking, highly recommended.

We were a group of friends and one of our friends did the IronMan. Was a great hotel for this as it was close to the city (15min by train to the center) and we had more than enough space in the room to store everything. It is also close to the nightlife and therefore also great to explore this side of the city. We were also able to check in earlier, which was great. Really good value for the money. Would highly recommend it.

Group of four of us stayed in a private room with 6 single beds. (2 sets of bunks) And 2 singles.Very clean, amazingly good shower with lots of hot water and food pressure. The lobby had very friendly staff and make excellent coffee. Special thanks to Marvin for great welcoming service. Located in a nice neighborhood close to grocery stores and regional railway station and subway lines. Quite a few restaurants nearby too.

A+ Mou & Robin made the difference for our stay! (also great help from Marvin & Reggie)Specifically every interaction with staff was great, extremely helpful, great life coaches, have heads up on city, other guests (large school groups), and even life advice. We stayed during heat wave and room came pre prepped with a small fan, though the whole building was still blistering. Twin beds were good, even put together, loved the decor in ceiling and bedframe. Shower had great heat, cold and pressure. Everything we needed.Breakfast could have been. Slightly better but had tons of light options.Overall great value and best of 3 hostels on our trip so far.

The room (dorm) was fantastic! Great beds, clean, great storage solution! It got very hot during the morning, so maybe AC or thinner duvets could be an option? No matter what, great rooms! The kitchen however was not satisfactory. There were no utensils, it was small and crowded, there was too few cutlery. Many pots and pans, but absolutely nothing to cook with. Sometimes people didn’t wash up what they used so it piled up, meaning we had to wash things ourselves to use them. BUT really great that the kitchen was open at night as well.PS. The 2nd elevator was often not working. It didn’t come when you pressed the button.Lovely staff, very helpful and nice! The location was also fine, with short distance to Altona and walking distance to Reeperbahn.

Loved the hospitality by the staff at reception. They allowed to keep luggage in the luggage room earlier as well. Decent location. Rooms were clean.
