Lively area with lots of bars and cafe, lovely!Hostel dorm is very nice and cosy, with privacy curtains for each bed. Keep in mind there is no kitchen or common area so maybe not ideal for a longer stay. Only two bathrooms for 6 dorms.. not great but manageable. The housekeeping team is super efficient!I recommend ;)

This hostel had more of a 'shared hotel room' feel, vs a social hostel. Not a bad thing per se, but just need to know what you are getting. There is no common area room, so you'll just have to connect with your roommates. The people I shared the room with for 4 nights were all nice. My limited interaction with the staff was positive. The under bed lockers are decent size, if your pack is not one giant one. I had a 30 and 40 liter and they fit fine side by side. I am aware of only one male and one female toilet for the floor, but there might be more. The male toilet was only busy one time I wanted it, so I just used the female, as it was just a one at a time room. A nice feature is that the beds are premade, and towel is included. Bad pillow, but seems to be the norm in my limited Germany hostel experience. Giant and just fluffy, like a bag of cotton balls. The location is not unsafe, but is pretty "international", and heavy with drinking and graffiti. It is close to the train station, so there is quick access to the rest of the city. Hamburg had some pretty spots, but I wouldn't put it on my must visit list, or if so, 2 days is plenty. If you have to be in Hamburg for work or passing through, this place would be a good option for a couple nights.

Location is perfect for this Hostel. The rooms were clean, cutrains on the beds, a sink, a tv, and even complimentary ear plugs. The showers are nice. I do have to add that I was the only one in my room and practically in the hostel so I'm not sure how it during the busier seasons. Make sure you take your key everywhere because I got locked out of my room and the hostel with nobody at reception, but nicely enough the receptionist at the other location sent a taxi to me with an extra key.

The room was spacious and clean. Bed was comfortable and the curtain gives you more privacy. But there is literally just one bathroom+shower for the whole floor. So long waiting time. Additionally, no common area to hang out. Not the bast place for a solo traveler like me. Despite this, the location is great.

I had a terrible experience with this "hotel"I was booked for two trips there.First week I realized too late ( 17:10) that the checkin is only staffed until 17:00. I called anyway and no one answered. I got slammed with a no-show fee of 89€ and needed to book another hotel (more expensive) for the night. The week afterward I gave advance notice that I am coming later than 17:00. I got told that info would be coming later on.At around 17:30 I realized I still had nothing. Called and someone answered! response: info coming right away, which it did.At 20:00 I come in, open the safety box to retrieve my key.NOT THERE.Fortunately a friend of mine had stayed there before and knew that there were other "Pyjama" hotel in Hamburg. We called and they told us we would get a spare key delivered per Taxi.Key arrived at 21:30.Had my friend not known of this I would have been stuck in Hamburg with no room available under 500€ as it was a "trade show week".In short I am never staying there

Located perfectly, clean and with spacious rooms. We had a room with four beds and a couch. All went out perfectly. Just the heating element was a bit too small for the size if this room. The hotel seems to be very safe as well, as even the elevator requires a key. We received two keys for the room and this kept us vrey organized :))

The area the hotel is in has everything on your doorstep from cafes to clothes stores. We stayed on the top floor in a huge room which let in lots of natural light and had a great view of the city. …

Stayed in a 6-bed Hostel room and it was amazing. Never been to such an easy, clean and classy hostel. Insane value for your money, because they make your bed everyday, they provide two towels and the rooms are just as they should be. Comfortable beds and enough sockets are the base for the practical and stylish design of the room. Will definitely stay here again, and i would recommend it to everyone!
