Booking was cheap for the center of Hamburg but you also get what you pay for.The bathroom smelled like was a public restroom, there was molt , the door was damaged like someone tried to force it open, there is constant noise from the streets and the entreance is a shady door inbetween some stores. And thats not even taking the neighbourhood into account. And parking in Hamburh isn't cheap either.Breakfast was edible but nothing amazing and the service was pretty good. The employees do try their best.-Next time i will pay a bit more and go to a different hotel or look into it a bit more before booking.

You pay for what you get here. Straight forward and down to earth lodging is accurate. Real advantage is affordability and location! Close to Hamburg Hbf, Lange Reihe, and Lake Alster. Friendly people working the front desk. Would visit again.

Very close to train station. Pretty clean room. And that’s it. Too little value for that price. A lot of junkies in the neighborhood, but that’s kind of usual close to main railway stations.

Close to the main train station, not sure about the area, I always felt that I was being watched. But didn't have any trouble. Expect to have to climb stairs, about 40 of them. The lift stops in between floors, IE between floors 2+3, so you always have to climb at least one flight of stairs. I'd stay there again as I travel alone, wouldn't recommend it for traveling with kids.

Strategic location, 3 mins walking to the main train station. 5 mins to the centre. It's clean, clean sheets and bathroom, they offer to clean the room everyday. Even though I booked the double bed room, they gave us one with 3 beds instead. So the room was bigger. Too bad the neighborhood is a little "dodgy", but it's not the hotel's fault. The downhill side is the lots of stairs right after the main entrance door and the lift stops in between floors, so more stairs to climb/ step down. Not comfortable at all for guests with small children and not accessible at all for wheelchair users.

The Hamburg Hilton. Set in one of the most desirable places on earth.Don’t ever come here. Unless you are homeless like we were. The hotel was 180 euros for one night with my wife and 2 kids. Travelling back home after a flight cancellation we had no time to research this place and the area it was in.Room was clean enough but stayed in fresher hostels. Not hostel prices here though.Staff friendly enough but we had no interaction really. The big downer is the street this is set on. It’s the most depraved place I have ever seen and I have seen many rough places in my time.If you come with kids etc don’t even come within ten square miles of this place. Hell on earth you absolutely could not think of a worse place to be out with war zones.

Location is very good, very close to the station. No lift up to the reception. So be prepared to carry the suitcase up a long staircase. To the rooms a lift is available.Breakfast was good, but the service staff seemed a bit annoyed and not exactly very friendly.Reception staff was good.Surrounding is not the best but the location

We booked this hotel via Amoma. Com as it stated that this hotel had large family rooms, pets were welcome and that the rooms had air-conditioning. All not true. We were asked to pay an additional 30 euros for our third child.  …

Booked here for a business trip. All was generally fine with the hotel. You need to climb a fair number of steep steps to the rooms. Overall: Clean room, comfy bed, desk to work from, good shower. …

Inexpensive option near the Hamburg Hbf. But, the area around it is very sketchy and we did not feel comfortable. The rooms were VERY basic. Shower doors broken. Not very clean. No view from windows other than the roof or wall from adjacent building. No breakfast, although we likely wouldn’t have stayed for it.
