Nice, quiet guesthouse. Very spacious room with a balcony and a view of the garden. Breakfast like in a 5 star hotel. Super nice host and very attentive breakfast lady. The location was exactly right for our activities. We'll definitely be back.

We were only here for 1 night while passing through. It was great that we had a warm, very tasty meal freshly prepared for us in the evening. You immediately feel very welcome, we were able to take our own drinks from the fridge in the restaurant and all the necessary things were briefly explained. The room was clean, large and equipped with everything, including a hairdryer in the bathroom, a table with 2 chairs and two balconies. The breakfast was lovingly served, fresh fruit and vegetables, eggs, rolls, cheese and cold cuts and even yoghurts are available. We'll be happy to stop here again on our next trip. Thank you very much 🙂

The accommodation is very secluded but there is pure peace and quiet. Thanks to the owner you immediately feel at home. Our room was very large with a view of the greenery. The breakfast was great and nothing was missing. We can recommend the glassworks.

The old glassworks has unfortunately left its great moments and splendor behind it. Attempts are being made to renew the shine with glass mosaic work, but it doesn't make it any better and instead makes it look even more shabby. Not a straight line but a half-baked concept. The rooms appear clean at first glance, but upon closer inspection they appear unhygienic. The joints in the showers are germy, the towels smell unclean, the shower heads spray in all directions and warm water takes time until it comes out of the head.Greasy cupboards, no dishwasher in a 6-person holiday apartment and completely overpriced for this "comfort". Mattresses sagging and the protective covers are germy and you can clearly see traces of the previous ones. The railing on the 3rd floor is crumbling and looks unsafe on the balcony. The main street makes the picturesque place reminiscent of a big city. It seems like you want to run a guesthouse with the least amount of effort. The only thing that can be seen as positive is the beautiful place with its own pottery. The garden and terrace area to the east is filled with "standing trees" and here too there is no maintenance of the area in sight. The top grades so far are completely inexplicable to me.

Thank you for this hospitable stay for one night in transit.Unfortunately, the catering industry was given up and the focus was on the guest rooms. However, a little something is always cooked in the evening for guesthouse guests. They even accommodated my special request for food. I can't rate the Steigerwald as a recreational area, but the Pension zur Glashütte is definitely recommended.
