The hotel is nicely located on the riverside, so the rooms have a beautiful view indeed. The rooms are clean and the breakfast is fine. The host is welcoming and very enthusiastic. It’s a pity though that the whole place has this slightly “tired” vibe with cracks on the walls, a kind of abandoned garden, etc. while being frankly expensive.Anyways, I understood that it’s the case for most of hotels in the region…

Family owned. Nothing fancy but great if you end up on this side of the Rhine.Modest but clean.Staff is very helpful. They do go home at night so no one is available at the front desk at night.You need to ask if you'd need shampoo. They do have hair dryer.Very very very close to train tracks but I did not hear any trains between 11pm-7am and it is Very close to Marksburg Castle.Great views of the castle from my room! Also great view of the Rhine!Free parking for guests!

Room ok. Fairly basic but value for money. Good value overall. WiFi good Very good position with view of river and an adequate balcony and chairs. Good hotel restaurant. Staff friendly and helpful. Town and route to the castle just over the road. River tour boats stop nearby. Really nice beergarten by the river nearby. Antique etc market some days. Town is cute. Good tea room (closes 5pm) and restaurants. Very good walk to the castle. Tourist offices lots of info including town walk. It makes an excellent weekend choice.Supermarkets nearby.

This hotel located in a very beautiful place with a wonderful view, but rooms was not so perfect, after shower all bathroom was full of water. and sometimes the smell from kitchen comes easily in the room and was not ok when you wanna get sleep, but people were so nice and with good Italian humor, the food was also so tasty 😋

Can only comment on our restaurant visit. I'd give 1 star but the food was amazing, Def authentic Italian. But the waitress was unwelcoming, and downright rude. Automatically gave us large drinks, didn't care that wasps were all over.. And the worst was no mention that they only take cash. Why?! So one if us had to leave and find a cash machine... Awkward.

A typical Italian hotel. Roberto is a lovely host with a warm heart. He is well traveled and loves sharing his knowledge and admiration with his guests. Amazing view of the Rhein river. Good restaurant and yummy breakfast. Great location to see all the castles in the area.
