Really nice hotel. Great location right in the heart of Kaiserslautern. The staff takes wonderful care of the guests. Super helpful and friendly. Yonan the bartender is stellar! He makes top-notch cocktails and goes above and beyond for the guests. The bar and restaurant were a great addition to our stay. I also loved the spa upstairs. Great view of the city and amazing sauna and balcony.

Good hotel, but needs attention. We have stayed here three separate times over the past several years. While it is considered the best hotel in Kaiserslautern, it is still lacking. …

The hotel it’s in amazing part of the town. I have being taking groups of students/athletes since 2017,(40 ++ students and adults)The staff it’s amazing, cleaning team super nice and do their job great, breakfast it’s amazing a lot choices and the ladies that work there are so nice and whatever you ask or need it’s there or they will try to accommodate you.The check in it’s easy, we know in Germany it’s usually at 3pm but sometimes if they have your rooms early they will let you in.The two guys at the bar (Osama and Yona I think) wonderful guys that help our kids with refilling water bottles every morning or afternnon, chat with them about soccer and Germany customs. The Front desk people are great as well. The whole team it’s amazing and this is why I keep taking people to that hotel, the prices are more expensive that other hotels in Ktown but it’s because you are getting a wonderful experience and quality services.I had several interaction with GM and Manager of the hotel, both ladies are amazing, great customer service skills.Anna is a wonderful, kind, reliable, responsive and very empathetic person. Both of them want every client to have an amazing stay and great service.Thank you Saks Hotel for taking care of my students and myself for so many years.

Strange hotel. Opening the heavy steel doors while carrying your luggage after a long day travelling was my first experience at SAKS. The room was more like from a love motel room rather than a category hotel. The shower had clear glass walls and the toilette was smaller than a plane's one!. I paid extra for a late check out at 3pm, 2:45pm the maid was trying to enter my room, she was even upset! Good breakfast and perfect location.

Great location in the city centre, nice rooms and spa, but the cardio area was under construction and the ceiling of our room had some water damage. Otherwise great hotel

5 stars overall. Awesome location with plenty of shopping and eating in close walking distance. If you find yourself TDY to Kaiserslautern then check this place out, a definite must stay at! ***Update*** still a great location to stay at. And the Rewe behind the hotel is open again after their remodeling.

Nice hotel situated in a 15 minute walk to the Kaiserslautern mall. Also close to many shops in the area. The room was clean and the staff were friendly and helpful.  …

The A/C didn't work very well, the bathroom floor heating was extremely hot but couldn't be turned off, there was no way to hang the showerhead and there's no privacy with the bathroom it's right next to the bedroom with a curtain, there were no fridges or microwaves in the junior suite. You have to pay for parking although it is discounted. I just expected more from a "4 star" hotel. Also breakfast was €18, definitely not worth it.

Good location, comfortable bed. Good restaurant. However, there can be queues at reception for check-in and check-out due to less staff. Better to bring your own Iron as they dont have enough to give in each room. Rooms are not quiet. You can hear sound of door and water from next room.

SAKS is a very nice hotel at glance. I stayed here a month. On day one the shower head was broke. It was literally the small piece that holds the handheld shower upright. I immediately reported it to the staff and I was told it would be replaced on that weekend. Long story short I followed up 3 times in a months time and it was a different excuse every time which is ridiculous. Shower head still broke today. Room has no refrigerator. I love the heated floors but would definitely prefer a fridge over heated floors. The cleaning staff does not knock they just burst in your room. It was days where they would come service the room and wouldn’t grab the trash which is conveniently located by the door. Some days I get exceptionally cleaning some days they didn’t wipe the sink. I experienced a roller coaster of unfulfilled expectations, which really sucks as my fiancé is permanently assigned to this hotel with his company so you would think the hotel would do at least the bare minimum for one of their top paying clients. Parking is very expensive. Parking is located under the hotel and is public parking. As a guest at the hotel you have to wait until someone comes out the parking deck to park if the deck is full. This is due to events always going on in the area which I call the square. The only bright side is the hotel is conveniently located near great restaurants, pharmacy and shopping. I literally could walk maybe 10 mins tops at the farthest and get everything I need. Love the mall thats about a 12 min walk from the hotel. I was there around Christmas til new years and I loved the events going on in the square. If you go around that time the hit wine in the square is a must try.
