I had a hard time with this review…On one hand , it was clean, affordable & EXTREMELY close to the Porta Nigra (quite literally the next building over). …

Simple and basic hotel room. I would rate this with a 7/10. The location is great since it is next to the city center and across the Porta Nigra. It was really warm, the room has no AC. So we opened a window. The hotel is next to a busy road with a lot of traffic. The bathroom could use an update.

The room was relatively large but unfortunately no longer up to date. For example, the floor and walls of the closet were already partially separated, but that didn't bother us so much. We often asked whether the room + bathroom was wheelchair friendly and the answer was always yes, but the bathroom was relatively cramped and you couldn't get to the desk in a wheelchair. Service was still very nice and attentive. The location was perfect, the porta nigra right in front of the door. There was no shortage of restaurants, bars and information shops either! All in all, we would definitely come back.

It is located directly at the Porta Nigra. That's the only positive thing.Booked the room for one night. For 80 euros without food. First got a storage room without everything. I complained about that and wanted to have at least a TV to distract me. I tried to explain to the staff that I had to go to the hospital the next day and have an operation, hence the distraction. Then I got a room with a TV that didn't work. Complained again and then I was given a room with a TV which did the trick. But the staff is very unfriendly,( annoyed). You enter the "hotel" and find yourself in a passage between the reception (if you can call it that) and the kitchen. Not a very inviting impression.I can't recommend this hotel more.

Very cheap furnishings. Bedding made from synthetic materials. Not good light for reading in the evening.|Very simple morning meal. E.g. no cereal. In addition, only from 9 a.m. for an hour until 10 a.m. …

Centrally located hotel with poor breakfast. The eggs were overcooked and the toaster didn't work. The selection of cooked ham and cheese is simply not enough. But that was just the tip of the iceberg, because none of the 3 soap and shower gel dispensers were filled. When you complain about this the next morning, the DM gives you a refill bag. Spider webs on the ceiling complete the overall impression. The fact that only every second socket works probably has something to do with the energy saving concept, because only every second lamp works both in the room and in the hallway.

Great centrally located hotel with a great view of the Porta Nigra. Friendly staff, very clean, modern room and large double bed.- A small refrigerator or mini bar would be great- Mattress relatively hard
