We had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. Friendly staff that was very attentive. We payed extra to get a balcony and that was well spent money. A beautiful view over the Mosel river! The food was good and well priced. Nice sun garden and pool with both sun and shadow. The only thing that makes it four instead of five stars was a very hard bed and a hopeless pillow.

Rooms were lovely and service was friendly, but.... when we checked out, we waited for a good 15 minutes before anyone turned up, which is not the end of the world, and might have been an exception. Generally, would still recommend!

We stayed here in August for 1 night with some good friends. The first impression was that it reminded me of an old fashioned traditional German hotel. The owner's daughter speaks good English and is very friendly.  …

For two weeks staying we did not get a parking place. Cruising around hotel every afternoon. There is no mini-bar in room (even there is a place for it). No kettle, no bottle of water. Cleaning of rooms is at a high level. Also service at breakfast.

A wonderful traditional hotel. Small-ish rooms with practical amenities - but wonderful views, access to a swimming terrace, and very peaceful.||||Restaurant/Bar is wonderful and very professionally-staffed...excellent food!||||Parking can be a challenge. If you find a good spot, you'll be tempted to keep it and walk everywhere.

We booked this hotel for a last minute week-end getaway. We were so pleasantly surprised that our room had a nice terrace with a fantastic view of the Mosel!!! The hotel staff were very friendly and the restaurant was wonderful.

I had asked for a room with balcony and Mosel view and I had only a small view of the Mosel and the balcony was only 1 square meter with one chair and no parasol for the sun protection.||The food is very poor , the buffet is the minimum possible.||I went ill from the evening meal and at home my doctor claimed the food for my illness
