I had the pleasure to be invited for a lunch meal last Wednesday. I had the garden salad with chanterelle mushrooms. It was very well seasoned and presented. The meals of the friends I sat with were also incredibly well presented. Unfortunately I only had lunch, but could feel the team and owners are well versed in providing honest and upmarket hospitality. Well done!!

The breakfast was good. After seeing all the nice reviews, We were expecting something nicer then it. The website pictures actually look much nicer then the reality. Perhaps they have some rooms renovated and some are not. The room and bath we stayed were a little old. Also we were misled with pictures of sauna and jacuzzi. It was actually not for the hotel guests but only for the suite. I went back to check the list of amenities and there wasn’t any sauna and jacuzzi. It was my mistake didn’t read through. Sometimes pictures can mislead.

Best Hotel on the Mosel!!After many overnights staying here on business trips I booked a weekend for my wife and I. As always the service and the quality were excellent. The personnel are friendly and competent, rooms are large and very comfortable, the menu and food is excellent, and in the morning the breakfast buffet has everything you could want to start the day with.Five Stars for everything *****My wife and I are already planning our trip for next summer and look forward to staying here again.Whether you are planning a business trip or a private Holiday, you will not find a better hotel to stay in when in the Mosel area. Thanks again to Britta Melsheimer and team for a great time and excellent accommodations.
