The house is very cozy and really maintained very well. The kitchen and bathrooms were very clean. The house was a really a good start for me in Freiburg. The land lady was friendly too.

I was only in Freiburg for a weekend to visit my relatives and was allowed to stay here in a cute room during that time.It was very nicely furnished and clean, nothing was missing in the bathroom and kitchen. The Bechtold family were extremely accommodating to me as hosts, the reception upon arrival was also very friendly and I felt comfortable throughout my stay.I can highly recommend this to anyone looking for a room with good transport connections in a quiet area and would be happy to come back!

I've already been to Ms. Bechthold twice and everything went well.Now I wanted to book a room again and had already discussed this with Ms. Bechthold in April and the beginning of September this year. I was only given the prospect of a booking confirmation. Now she informed me that all the rooms have now been reserved for other people. It's not understandable to me... it's a shame that's not the way it should be.

I was Mrs. Bechtold's guest for about 5 weeks. The communication beforehand was very friendly and accommodating. During my stay I was also offered replacement bedding due to the length. The cleanliness of the common areas was very satisfactory. The room itself was also very clean and satisfactory. all in all a very pleasant stay.

I was there for almost half a year for work and I have to say that the rooms are of high quality and well maintained. Great attention is also paid to cleanliness.The location in idyllic suburban flair is also great, as you are well connected to the center but far enough away from street noise.There is a 24-hour supermarket including a gas station within walking distance.Overall, the time there was quite pleasant and I would recommend it.

I have been there many times for the weekly vocational school. The location is very good, the tram can be reached in a few minutes on foot, the area is quiet, the rooms are nice and homely furnished and everyone is courteous and very hospitable. All in all tip top.

I have already been to the Bechtold family's private room twice. I was very satisfied and felt comfortable. I find it pleasant that payment is made in cash in advance. This means I can stay there and leave flexibly afterwards without any further formalities. Leave the key in and you're done. Since you eat breakfast out anyway, you can even stay there until 11 a.m. on the day of departure if you want, so you can sleep in if you want.I can't say anything about the kitchen because I didn't use it.I was already accommodated in both parts of the house. I particularly liked the side part. There is a small but fairly new-looking bathroom with a sink, shower and toilet. You actually have to share it with others, but this doesn't bother you if all guests make sure to leave the bathroom properly. For this price you can't expect the bathroom to be thoroughly cleaned after every guest.The room was spacious and comfortably furnished and the small balcony was very nice. It's a quiet, pleasant area.It is particularly advantageous that you can book a room relatively spontaneously.I also think the price is very cheap for a big city. Otherwise, you can only stay cheaper in youth hostels, where there is no breakfast and are usually noisy.

We regularly stay overnight with Ms. Bechtold on our way from Barcelona to Erfurt and back and have always been satisfied. Paying in advance is great, the price is cheap, so we can leave whenever we want. Which is a little later in winter and earlier in summer. That's why the lack of breakfast doesn't bother us.

The landlady tried to come into the room unannounced with a craftsman to measure the space. However, I was in the room at the time.Edit from November 8th, 2021 because I couldn't find an answer function:At first, as I remember, you didn't knock on the door, but tried to open the door directly, which was not possible. Only then did you receive a message.Apart from that, you and I are aware that the review was primarily due to your impossible behavior towards other guests. This issue was also included in the original review, but I deleted it as a gesture of goodwill after you threatened legal action.I would also like to point out at this point that your response to the review after 2 (!) years strangely comes a short time after a legal letter from your side to Google and the resulting two-week deadline from Google to prove that I stayed overnight with you, otherwise mine would Review deleted, coming.I hope you have made a positive difference in your overnight stay experience and I also wish you all the best for the future.David Aurbach
