Absolute price-performance winner in Speyer. Positive: Directly adjacent to the pedestrian zone, about 10 minutes from the cathedral. Public parking nearby for 8 euros per day. Tasteful lobby with pool table. Breakfast buffet was sufficient and was constantly refilled. Staff was friendly.Negative: Shower was leaking (just closed the bathroom door), the room got very hot and could only be seriously cooled through an open window. In general, there is still a lot going on in the streets at night.Conclusion: I don't think it's a bad thing at all if the room is only cleaned every two days. Apart from small weaknesses, the price was very cheap, hence a good rating.

When we checked in we had the feeling that we weren't being noticed. A look or a gesture that someone would be there to talk to right away would have been nice. We had this experience three times. In general, the lady at the reception seemed rather condescending and asked for the name and room number several times in every conversation. The statement that she hadn't booked through the hotel (which wasn't true) and that she couldn't do anything left us feeling put off.The room was large and certainly sufficient for 1-2 nights.The wardrobe with 2 hangers and 2 compartments was too small for 1 week. A shelf would have been nice in the bathroom. There are generally no drawers in the room, the bedside table is rather small.Sustainability in the room: room cleaning every 2 days. - You can't see anyone there!Towel and bed linen change every 4 days!! At over 30 degrees you can imagine what that looks like.Coffee and tea... 4 capsules for Nespresso. 3 tea bags (not refilled) - hot water is available via the Nespresso machine... how to wash the cups - I won't say anything now.The breakfast was extensive and the staff was very nice. I would get full marks for the service - but that doesn't suit the reception.

Room cleaning only every other day. Soap not refilled at sink. It was loud in the room facing the street even with the window closed. The internet and TV didn't work during a five-day stay.Staff at reception and at breakfast were very friendly.Parking costs 8 euros per day.

The room is quite ok. The carpet urgently needs to be properly cleaned or replaced. The mattress is rather too soft for us, but some people like that.Breakfast was clear, but everything you needed was there. The coffee was very good, fruit salad was also really tasty.The location is ideal, right in the middle of the city.

First of all: Find another hotel!I was in Speyer for work and had arranged my check-in for the night with the employee over the phone at lunchtime, as the reception desk is no longer staffed in the evening. However, checking in at the machine was not possible because the machine was broken. So I stood in front of locked doors at night...never again!Addendum: After an hour (!) and a few phone calls, I was actually let into my room. It was totally filthy, the hallways stank of grass and the WiFi and TV didn't work!

Very friendly and helpful at reception.The breakfast is also very rich and has a great selection.People there are always friendly and the service is great.Where there is a problem is with the service around the room! I understand that with the reference to sustainability, the bed linen is changed every 4 days, but the towels were also not changed in 4 nights. Or just on request.What I don't understand is that people don't make the beds, empty the wastebasket or replace the cups with clean ones or put away the used glasses.This has nothing to do with sustainability but with personnel savings. This does not correspond to my understanding of a 4 star hotel.

Excellent location right on MaxiStraße in the center. The room was absolutely clean and the furnishings were fine. Absolutely excellent value for money, actually too cheap. Very special thanks to Mr. Busch! It's great that you have such top employees! I will gladly come again.

Nice location right on the lake. The rooms were clean and the facilities were ok. I had no noise in the room. Unfortunately the restaurant was closed for renovations. I will gladly come again.
