The food they prepared was amazing. Everything we have tried is our new favorite thing. Super friendly and willing to bend over backwards to ensure you are happy with the service. Definitely worth the 5 stars!

Stayed here summer last year and again this October. It is an ideal location and good value for an overnight stop from UK to southeast Germany and Austria, a quiet little village just 5 mins or so from the motorway, alternatively as a base for a few days for walking in the Pfalzerwald. The hotel is part way up the hillside, the side we stayed in has nice open views across the houses and gardens to the woods opposite. Our room was a decent size and clean and tidy, the owner who lives on site is welcoming and makes an effort to please and be helpful. The hotel restaurant is very good, with a wide variety of well cooked food in a homely setting. A 10 minute walk up the hillside takes one into the woods. We would definitely stay here again and happily recommend it.

Nice rooms, big beds and large bathroom. Came here with my soccer team and was a nice setting to be near the Kaiserslautern military base.

It wasn't clean (dirt on tiles and strange brown stain on the lamp, dust on and on the bed, rusty soap dish in the shower). you couldn't open the window all the way. There was no one to be found at breakfast. The dog is buried there. Oh yes and if the window is tilted you have to be prepared to be woken up at night by trains rolling past (200m distance without soundproofing or other buildings in between)

Unfortunately we didn't like this inn. The rooms are clean but the furnishings and the bathrooms are from the 50s. There are only single beds, the mattresses are thin and sagging. Breakfast is simple, no fresh yogurt or fruit salad. No ham, just sausage and a bit of cheese. We are not particularly demanding but the room costs 100 euros with breakfast. That's pretty outrageous. And food and other things are only in cash. A rogue who thinks evil.

Service rating times five. That's how many of us stayed in the hotel. The staff prepared delicious breakfasts for the five of us every day at 7 a.m. Not excluding Saturdays and Sundays. Especially since it's not always possible to get breakfast so early on the weekend.
