Ingerlhof Tegernsee

Cozy and rustic mountain hut high above Lake Tegernsee.I was able to spend a great weekend with friends in the Ingerlhof holiday home. The steep road from the town up to the farm is a bit formidable the first time, but absolutely doable with any car. In return, you will be welcomed by a very nice and extremely attentive landlady and rewarded with a fabulous view and the tranquility of the place. All rooms are cozy and simply designed and open to the south side of the garden and a view of Lake Tegernsee. The nights are quiet and starry.Absolute recommendation for families, groups of friends and couples who really want to relax and are looking for peace and simplicity.Kind regards to Andrea and see you next time.

Poor value for money in rustic, remote cabin.At the beginning of August 2024 I spent a week in the accommodation with 3 other adults and give it 1 out of 5 points. The following reasons: the hut is located high above the town of Tegernsee and can only be reached by car on a very steep road. On the same property as the accommodation is the landlady's house, where she lives with her partner and 2 dogs.The cabin dates back to the last century and has not been modernized or adequately maintained in recent decades. That means: there is no washing machine, dishwasher and WiFi, old wooden floorboards and walls (tiles in the bathroom and kitchen), only one bathtub (half of it is covered with a large hot water heater and no shower curtain), the bathroom door is stuck and can only be opened with open with a lot of force, there are no fly screens in the rooms (except for two windows in one bedroom), so that the rooms are full of butterflies and insects, especially in the evenings, you cannot open the window in the narrow kitchen (there is no extractor hood), so that the whole room including the dining room smells like cooking, and no sockets work in one bedroom. Only the induction cooker is modern.The cleanliness left something to be desired: unwashed carpets and dead flies in the curtains in the dining room.When we were out and about during the day, the landlady's partner let the dogs run free on the lawn of the two houses. When we came back, there were dog feces on the lawn right in front of our accommodation for two days. We had to remove this ourselves.Comfort looks different: we had to make the beds ourselves. We were supposed to separate the garbage and dispose of it downstairs in town (although there were no appropriate containers).On a positive note, we received several eggs from the landlady's chickens and there were enough dishes and glasses.Unfortunately I didn't feel comfortable in the hut. The feel-good idyll suggested in the pictures never occurred to any of us.We paid 320€/night, ie. 80€/person/night. With the condition and location of the hut described above, this seems completely overpriced. I cannot recommend this accommodation.

You have to know what you are getting into when you go on holiday at the Ingerlhof. Nestled in an idyllic, pristine landscape, the Ingerlhof offers everything you need to relax and enjoy nature and escape from hectic everyday life. After just 2 days we felt like we had been there longer. The area around Tegernsee; Schliersee and Kitzingsee invite you to hike, explore and feast. In addition, the unique, romantic accommodation in the mountain hut, where you quickly learn to live in a really rustic way and forget about the supposedly necessary luxury. We didn't miss anything, even though the weather was crazy. We had days of sunbathing with clear blue skies and 30°C and then 5cm of fresh snow 5 days later. All in all, the perfect holiday for us, thanks also to the lovely hostess, who was always there when we had questions or needed fresh eggs.

We've been coming back for years. Why? Because it is simply a wonderful, unique place to recharge and unwind. Everything is lovingly furnished, rustic and well maintained. We feel almost at home - also because of the nice landlady.Thank you very much and see you next time. We look forward to seeing you again in 2025

In the truest sense of the word, stand "above things", leave the hustle and bustle and everyday life behind you, enjoy the fresh air and the wonderful view of the lake and mountains and spend a carefree time - we have all this in the lovingly furnished, very romantic " can experience "at home". Fantastic property with rustic accommodationAndrea gave us a warm welcome, was very helpful and accommodating. For our trip we rented both accommodations, which are characterized by Bavarian rustic cosiness. We felt very comfortable and enjoyed our breakfast on the sun terrace.

Our relaxation and meditation retreat here at this location was perfect. Six people who didn't know each other over such a long period of time became truly and authentically closer. In a wide variety of encounters, honest emotions were shown that strengthened personality and group feeling. The highlight was the sauna festival in the local thermal baths, which was celebrated by everyone. None of this could have happened without the farm's enchanting hostess who makes the place so magical. Thank you very much for that...and the next summer retreats are planned...in this wonderful place.

The apartment is very cozy, bright and friendly furnished. We enjoyed the beautiful view of forest and flowers. There are cats, a dog and chickens there. The landlady is very friendly and helpful. We would be happy to come back to this beautiful place.
