We were at the restaurant for dinner. We were completely satisfied with the service and the food. The innkeeper was very friendlyand the food was sufficient. The menu is well-stocked and there is even something for vegetarians. What I personally was missing was at least 1 dish with chicken. We would love to come back and have already made reservations.

We stayed here for a weekend. The location is very quiet in the middle of the forest. I haven't slept so well in a long time. I'm not sure if it was the quiet or the beds.We give 5 stars because the price-performance ratio is right. The breakfast was also very good and plentiful. The rooms are very clean, the location is great. The balcony faced the forest, it was very comfortable here. If you're looking for some relaxation and peace, you've come to the right place!The food in the restaurant is good home cooking, very tasty and perfectly priced!

The food is great and the price is completely reasonable. The location is idyllic and natural. In the middle of the forest, almost like a fairy tale. Service is completely fine and friendly. Hygiene is great, rarely seen toilets so clean. We'd love to come back. There is also a small playground.

I don't give this forest hotel any stars, the only thing we enjoyed was the dinner. Otherwise, the rolls were hard early on, the coffee was cold and the condensed milk was bad. Rooms weren't cleaned once in 3 days. That's why we left today. We have been to many hotels, but we have never had a hotel like this. Oh and one more thing, we were once asked to leave the guest room because the table was already reserved. We were allowed to come back in an hour. I've never experienced such arrogance before. We will no longer use the hotel and it's a shame that there are no testers.

In a friendly phone call with the owner, an overnight stay for 4 people was agreed upon.When we arrive after an almost 4-hour drive, the son of the operating family disrespectfully insinuates that we haven't booked any accommodation. When it finally became obvious that the owner was at fault, there was no apology, no help or recommendation for alternative accommodation.Conclusion: The property made a very unkempt impression and the staff had never heard of a welcoming culture!!!We cannot make a recommendation.

Great location in the forest, typical Vogtland and very good cuisine, nice restaurant....BUT.....an innkeeper who is overwhelmed with smaller groups, arrogant - ignoring demeanor, where people are quickly threatened with being thrown out! It's a shame this unprofessional treatment!Waiting time until the first drink is around 40 minutes, until the meal around 70 minutes from arrival!It's a shame how anti-sympathy can destroy this oasis!

Cozy, remote and quiet forest hotel. Exactly between Plohn and Eibenstock. Dinner was super delicious. There was a little bit of everything at breakfast.

5 nights in a double room with balcony and half board (breakfast and a main course from the evening menu). If you are looking for clean rooms and good food, you will find it here. The hotel is in a quiet location and certainly not for Insta-hipsters. We used the hotel as a starting point for our motorcycle tours to the Ore Mountains and the Czech Republic. Free WiFi made route planning easier. Shops and a gas station are just a 5-minute drive from the hotel. We ended our evenings in the beer garden under large chestnut trees. The hosts were all extremely nice and always friendly. We will definitely come back…

Family business, very tasty food, the rooms are clean and functionally furnished. The point of deduction in the entire movement is the outdoor area, lawn, open garages with garbage or scrap. But if there are only three people running the property, hats off and we'll be back.
