It was particularly quiet in this hotel. The location was picturesque, a beautiful rural setting with an adjacent castle park and pond. Free Wi-Fi in the room as well as the refrigerator. The restaurant and dinner were good despite the few guests. The staff was very nice. The breakfast wasn't extensive but there was nothing missing. The hotel can be recommended, not least because of the fact that it is a castle.

It's just great here!!! The food and service are great!!! The bambes (potato pancakes) are handmade and you can hardly get them anywhere anymore!!!! The view and the ambience are unique and we were served so lovingly, friendly and cheerfully that it couldn't be better! Thank you very much!!!😊👍😍

We had a very nice New Year's celebration and a few overnight stays here. Friendly people and good rooms made our stay a little experience. I would love to come here again! The only flaw was a dog that barked in the neighborhood at every opportunity.

Had lunch. 1.25 hour waiting time for two roast dishes. That's just too long. Too bad. Food was good. Service friendly. Something new in the decoration could improve the ambience.

The food is very good, but the service is poor to poor. If you want to eat here, you have to have a lot of time and patience. Waiting for three quarters of an hour is nothing. Even if there are only a few guests there. You should also bring enough tissues with you, as napkins are in short supply here or not available at the table. You have to get up yourself and get the napkins from the buffet.Eggs aren't available for breakfast every day either. You won't be asked if you want a boiled egg for breakfast. The breakfast buffet is very sparse and sometimes without service. Guests are left to their own devices here. The long, blonde, slim waitress is stroppy and out to cause a ruckus. She even kicked people out of a dining hall. That was borderline. The sound makes the music. We have never experienced anything like this anywhere. On the whole, you expect something completely different from a castle.

We were guests for the second time. This time 2 families.About the hotel: The rooms are clean and functionally furnished. Unfortunately, the bed linen already makes a clearly used impression, it has loud little round lumps on it, I think that's what they call billinge? Clean, yes, but it takes a bit of getting used to... The breakfast buffet was very clear/sparse. The wall mount was missing in our shower, which meant you had to hold the shower head in your hand the whole time. If that's coupled with relatively little water pressure, showering becomes a bit more complicated! But it only became really strange when I was leaving when I actually had the nerve to complain that the holder (the holes for it were still in the wall) was missing. The answer I got was: "...yes, you know, we would have to renew the thing every month..." The line between flippant-cute and cheeky is pretty thin! That's why only 2 stars instead of 3!The restaurant, we ate in the basement twice in the evening. The quality was good, price performance rather only 2 stars. A starter, olive plate, 7 green, 8 black olives with toothpicks, with 3 thin slices of baguette for 4.20 euros is a bit steep! The lamb shank itself was very good, the potato pancakes (bambes) were rather soggy, and the beans too (frozen goods?). Overall, the taste was good, but not a bargain for 15.90 euros. The other meals, such as the butterfly steak, were "strictly portioned" (you shouldn't eat so much meat either :-) and at 13.90 in total they were "GOOD" but not more or less. The positive highlight in the restaurant are the two waitresses (or do you say waitresses?), attentive, nice and personable - great!

The location was very quiet for our celebration there in this beautiful castle hotel. The rooms were very chic and you could enjoy them. The rooms were comfortable and everything you would expect was there, and the service was correspondingly good.

Went there for dinner with our motorcycle group and were warmly welcomed. The food was a treat for everyone, very tasty. The outdoor area could be a little nicer. We'll definitely be back.

Spent a lazy weekend here with our dog. Very nice people and the food is also very tasty. The only thing that bothered us was the mattresses. Maybe we are a little spoiled by our home.
