We are here for dinner today, Friday. It's a shame and sad because we are the only guests. There was leg of venison and Vogtland beef roulade. The food was very, very tasty. Price/performance is right. The service is very friendly. It's really a shame that this place is so unfrequented. I hope that all employees will have a busy autumn and winter.

We were there as a group and also spent the night there. The rooms are clean, but unfortunately very old. We were in the attic. A huge water stain on the ceiling caught our eye. It was also easier to see mold in the area. Unfortunately the bed was too short and my husband, who is 1.85m, had to lie at an angle. Unfortunately there was carpeting on display, which in my opinion is difficult to clean and maintain. The bathroom was fine. However, the lighting is rather dark. The cake is baked in-house and tastes very good. Unfortunately, in a group you have to wait 1.5-2 hours for your food. On the second day, the meal requests for the evening were noted down for breakfast. It still took 2 hours and everyone at a table of 8 people always ate alone. One even forgot the starter. What was bad was that the waitress kept running from table to table with the food, asking if anyone wanted to eat it. Totally uncoordinated and that on the second evening, when they had promised improvement. That shouldn't be the case. It is very quiet in the area and it is easy to go hiking. The outside area of the hotel was very neglected. The terrace had not been swept in a single day and the green areas had become overgrown. In any case, we won't be coming back, the ambience, the uncoordinated nature of the restaurant and the overall picture were not right for the price.

Anyone who wants GDR flair is in good hands here. The location is probably okay for hikers. For me it was not recommended. I don't think the price per person is reasonable.We are an experience richer and will not come back.The staff was very friendly and accommodating.

It is very positive that our two dogs were allowed into the restaurant. We value this very highly, because it cannot be taken for granted! The service staff was also very friendly and attentive, and also gave advice on the dishes on offer! Unfortunately, there is also a negative point and that lies in the food. We wanted to stop for lunch and chose dishes from the lunch menu. There was no fried food, no pork, no poultry. The selection of beef was plentiful and the taste was also okay. But unfortunately nothing quick-fried from beef either. Fish was also on offer. Here, however, no pure fillet pieces, but always with a “coat”. A pity! Maybe it's worth thinking again about what's on the menu and adding a delicious steak.

Very nice hotel but older standard.The hotel still looks like it did before the fall of the Wall, only the TV and the bathrooms are new. The hotel is clean and well maintained. The rooms are comfortable and only recommended for families. We had a connecting room with our children, which was very nice and we all had plenty of space. The staff was extremely friendly and we felt very comfortable. The breakfast is standard but okay. We were full and the coffee tasted good. There were rolls, muesli and cornflakes. Sausage, cheese, jam. Yogurt and eggs. So everything is there that is needed.The food in the restaurant is very good and home cooking. The prices are more than reasonable.I can only recommend the hotel.

Very down to earth. The meat dishes are extremely tasty and better than the fish dishes. The ambience is almost museum-like in GDR style. Dollhouse corner etc. for children - is nice for families.

Stayed there for two nights. From the food to the room, everything was wonderful! It is a family-run hotel and restaurant with attention to detail and very nice people. The food was delicious, fantastic home cooking :)) the rooms are rustic but everything was very clean, the bathroom was new, the bed was really comfortable, we slept very well! We had a very nice time and can recommend it! :))
