I stayed in apartment 5 with my two daughters during the fall break of 2022. It was actually only intended for two people, but the older girl slept on the sofa. We don't have any great demands and just wanted a week off.The apartment is simple but clean and cozy. Personally, I was missing an oven. But the very nice landlady was kind enough to lend us her microwave. The light in the bathroom always goes off by itself after a few minutes. That's not so pleasant either. But otherwise we were completely satisfied. The area there is beautiful! There are great hiking trails and boat tours, a climbing forest, a lake stage and unfortunately no restaurants open in autumn. The best thing was to sit on the in-house dock with a book and then watch the sun go down.Due to its hillside location, the guesthouse is only suitable for people who do not have problems with many steps.

Very nicely located guesthouse on a hillside with a fantastic view of the water! Since the guesthouse is located right on the edge of the forest, it's a great vacation in the middle of nature! The new owners are very warm and open and run the guesthouse very lovingly, so they also attach great importance to cleanliness.I spent several weeks here for work reasons and felt very comfortable all around!Highly Recommended!I'll definitely come back :-)

Even in the freezing winter you can spend wonderful days here. The heaters work perfectly and the view is fantastically beautiful with snow! The landlords are very nice and we were warmly welcomed as families. The kitchen is well equipped, with everything you need apart from the dishwasher. The fact that the hallway/cloakroom and kitchen are one room is a bit awkward in wet weather, but OK. (Unfortunately I don't have a photo of the kitchen.)The bathroom in apartment number 3 is a bit small, but OK for 3 people.Everything was very clean. We'd love to come back!

We booked this as a weekend fishing vacation. As soon as we arrived we were rudely greeted by the owner with a slight note of beer and the words "what are we doing here?" Only when we said we had booked did it change. The room is sufficient and the view was fantastic. Unfortunately it's not suitable for fishing because the same people always had their fishing rods in there around the clock. Even if the regular guests weren't sitting on the jetty, the fishing rods were in the water, so there was no chance of fishing either. Even when we were looking for a suitable place, we found that there was nothing nearby that wasn't private. So not even an alternative option for fishing. Everything fenced off. The owner, on the other hand, was very nice. The parking is a complete disaster! The guesthouse was fully booked and there were nine cars on the site... one behind the other, next to each other... etc. Hardly possible without proper maneuvering. It's a shame...we were looking forward to a weekend of fishing, but it only turned out to be a trip by car to look for fishing spots...It was also a shame that it was 8 degrees and the heaters didn't really get warm, so we sat in the guesthouse with blankets to warm up.It seems to have been great for the regular guests...unfortunately not for us.

We can only recommend the Hechtblick. Nice welcome from the owner upon arrival. We had apartment number 7 and were fascinated by the view. Our dear white German Shepherd felt very comfortable in the fenced area. Despite the fishing guests, our children were able to swim on the hotel's own fishing pier and were always warmly welcomed. There is a playground approx. 150 m away. In the evening you could enjoy the peace and quiet or meet at the jetty to end the day together. LG from Thuringia. We will be back.

We felt very comfortable for a week and the peace and the view make up for the many stairs 😉... The new owners are great too! Nice and friendly, always ready to talk and you have lots of ideas... We can only thank you and wish them both much success and strength for the future! Implement all your wishes and ideas... It can only be really good! We look forward to seeing you again.

Beautiful. It was very relaxing, calming and a relief for anyone who is stressed. Just the peace and quiet and the view of the red sky setting over the lake are pure relief. The new landlords have a very welcoming, open and warm attitude. We were more than completely satisfied and will be happy to come back. We can only recommend everyone to treat themselves to a break from everyday life there. .... Dipl.med. Oliver Sachse and Gabi

Very nicely located, ideal for hiking enthusiasts, we had an apartment right on the edge of the forest. The apartment was very clean. The hotel's 2 rowing boats can be used FREE 24 hours a day...where else can you find something like that? The staff is also very friendly. The only thing I miss in the area is a playground for children.

The guesthouse is a cozy place, far away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life and in a totally idyllic location. The property with direct water access and adjacent forest is beautifully landscaped and offers nature and fishing enthusiasts a very pleasant atmosphere. The owner was very friendly when we contacted her on the phone. However, the owner seemed very grumpy and taciturn upon arrival. The facility is quite dated and could use some improvements here and there, but it's perfectly adequate for a long weekend. Our apartment was very clean. The price-performance ratio is really good with free WiFi and parking, as well as the one-off rental fee for the boat(s) of €20. Checking out on the day of departure by 10 a.m. at the latest is a bit annoying, also considering that the apartment should be handed over swept clean. But this is certainly not avoidable, as the owner takes care of the follow-up of all holiday apartments alone. Unfortunately, our stay was somewhat dampened by the local atmosphere, as the regular anglers occupied the best fishing spot on the jetty from early to late in the evening and were very loud and rather simple in their behavior. They sat together with the owner couple in their seating area on the jetty and entertained everyone in the immediate area. We were there as two couples who were friends for a relaxing weekend and the men were really looking forward to fishing, both on the jetty and on the boat. There were no problems with renting the boats, which was very pleasant. However, it was very annoying that the distribution of space on the jetty was so unfair. Our men fished together with one fishing rod each right next to the two boats and the better spot was occupied every day by the same two regular guests with their 4 fishing rods. The remaining anglers among the guests always took turns at the less good spots by making arrangements with each other. The owners' hospitality diminished more and more during our stay, so that, among other things, we were left completely alone when we left due to the very difficult, narrow parking situation or we constantly felt like we were being watched critically on the jetty. After the initial friendliness, you had the feeling that you were no longer really welcome. There were also some gossips about other guests, which were so loud that you could almost always hear them word for word. Unfortunately, that left a very bad aftertaste, so we wouldn't book again despite the beautiful location.

We stayed in Hechtblick apartment 6, everything was clean and lovingly furnished. A dog that we had with us wasn't a problem either. The facility is located in the forest with direct access to the water. There is a grill and fireplace, as well as covered seating right at the jetty. The conversations we had with the “boss” were warm and open. The park rules, which were initially assumed to be impossible, were handled confidently with the other holiday guests and the boss. The regular guests, also anglers, kindly welcomed us into their midst at the somewhat scarce fishing spot and the conversation was quickly established. We were offered a boat free of charge for a fishing trip.In any case, we'll be back to outwit the lost pike again and to forget about everyday life
