Hotel Gasthof is charming but could be much better with small changes.There's no lift for the 5 stories of rooms. The rooms are large but have small bathrooms. The bar and restaurant are good but seem to be booked out all the time. The breakfast is basic; expect cheese, small goods, bread rolls, and a low capacity toaster. There's 2 types of butter and 3 types of jam.Coffee is bottomless, but not enough staff to refill them. There's 6 types of tea, and none of them are black tea.The outside area is nice for a beer, and the limited staff available were pleasant to deal with.I don't believe 2 nights here is worth 240 euros for 2 nights, but you might still enjoy the ambience and cheese rolls for breakfast.

I was invited to dinner. All I can say is it was absolutely outstanding. I have rarely eaten such an excellent 3-course menu. 5 stars are actually not enough. The chef is an artist. The service was very friendly and accommodating.I definitely have to go back there.

We have been to the inn many times now and it has always been a time of well-being and enjoyment. This time, however, it was a special highlight, we were pampered from A - Z for my wife's birthday! I can only warmly recommend this house. Rooms, service and cuisine rightly deserve full marks

We wanted to have a nice weekend, but we didn't get the best deal with the hotel. Our room faced the street, which is a busy federal highway. The first night we thought the traffic was very loud. But on the second evening there was one (maybe two) events in the inn downstairs with loud music until 1am. In principle, the night's sleep should also apply in the hotel... Especially in the current hot temperatures without air conditioning, it is better to sleep with the window open. Unfortunately there were no fly screens in the windows.The sink in the bathroom was already damaged. Showering was only possible cold in the morning, there was simply no water pressure for the hot water.You can't complain about the breakfast buffet. There was enough choice from sweet to savory. The service was very forgiving, it was always refilled.In terms of location, it is well located and attractions can be reached quickly.
