Class there. Breakfast was super tasty and plentiful. But without a car in the area you're at a loss.

We were in Berga for the second time, at Easter. Unfortunately, the service and the cleanliness of the rooms have deteriorated. The restaurant has a cozy atmosphere, but unfortunately it is rarely open. The entrance to the guesthouse is unkempt. To the location on the outskirts of the city, accessible only by vehicle, no footpaths - dangerous fun.

Dear Pölscheneck team,At this point I would like to thank you again very much for the lovely evening we were able to spend with you.My colleagues and I went bowling and then ate together with children aged 7-12.We planned everything in advance and everything worked out great! The children really had fun bowling and were able to move around freely (which is not a given). The bowling alley looks really cool and appealing with its “motto”.The food was delicious, so much so that salad was preferred. We can report on a lovely trip and would like to thank you very much for the wonderful hospitality!

The positive first: The menu is small but that's an advantage, the food is inexpensive and tasty. The ambience has the charm of a storage room, but cozy is something else. There is obviously no heating either (thanks Mr Habeck). You should plan on waiting for one to one and a half hours for your meal, which is actually not possible. If you ask discreetly, you will be informed that you are lucky to be able to get something at all in the region. This is what will happen to German gastronomy in 2022. In this specific case, I ask myself why operators are still doing this to themselves? Maybe you should just enjoy your retirement and close the shop?

We work here with a lot of passion and commitment. The room and bed were new, and the small details were decorated with a lot of love. You can also eat very well, and if you have too many calories, you can simply go bowling afterwards in this nice establishment. That wasn't my last visit

We had a Christmas party (2015) there and were unfortunately disappointed with the service and quality. Some of the food was poorly prepared (spaghetti was hard) and various alcoholic drinks were offered carelessly in standard glasses and still warm. The bowling alley in the building is great and relatively modern.I hope things have improved a bit in the meantime.

That was nothing! As a club for 15 people, we ordered 3 family pizzas because the quality of the "local hero" had deteriorated and the Pölscheneck had already supplied us with very tasty (and large) pizzas from time to time.So we ordered the three pizzas in question and when they arrived we couldn't believe our eyes. The pizzas barely filled half the box and were divided into 16 pieces but the size of a pizza that one or two people could eat alone.A Wagner pizza from the supermarket is only slightly smaller. We paid €57 (€60 with tip) for these three small pizzas. Everyone was super upset and wanted to clarify because we thought there was a mix-up. So we called and expressed our displeasure, but it fell on deaf ears. The family pizzas have always been this big, nothing has changed and they cost 20 EUR. There would be no subsequent delivery or other compensation. And if we wanted that (original sound!) then we would just have to order somewhere else.Unfortunately, dear Pölscheneck, you have lost our club. From a business point of view, you should go back to school because you will miss out on much higher sales in the future. to what a goodwill solution would have cost, because you not only lost the 15 of us, but also their entire families and probably also friends and acquaintances. It's a shame or not if that's not necessary in the catering industry these days.

Everything is great there. We had a lovely meal and drank a lot to quench our thirst. During the last round of schnapps, the lights went out and we were full like 10 Russians (if you can even say that anymore) the pub then drove us straight home because our legs weren't doing what they were supposed to do (here probably had the polluter pays principle).

The 2 bowling alleys are very nice! Located in a corner of the guest room, so you can always stay in the picture and the noise doesn't bother you.Service was a bit slow and the food wasn't great, even though we waited almost 2 hours for it! Especially the 'salad plates' were very small and carelessly prepared.

A pleasant atmosphere, successful rustic ambience, good service, friendly staff, highly recommended, the bowling alley is good for a company outing or with family and friends, very good food and a good selection of drinks. All in all, highly recommended.
