The outside is quaint - it looks old. After talking with the owner, we found out that it was VERY old, from 1700's.!||The rooms are a totally different story - they offer ALL the creature comforts of modern living. …

Rarely would I like to give 6 stars, but that's the case here.The guesthouse is super central in Thurm, it takes 3 minutes to walk to the church and 4-5 minutes to the festival barn. If you're getting married in Thurm, you should book this guesthouse, it couldn't be better.The room is lovingly furnished and decorated, the bathroom is modern and newly renovated, clean. The owners of the guesthouse are a super nice, courteous couple. Several requests, e.g. required tools, were fulfilled immediately. We also received a little surprise in our room. If we are in Thurm again, we will stay here again. Thanks :)

After our nearby accommodation canceled our room two days before the trip, we spontaneously asked for a room at the guesthouse. Luckily there was still 1 room available, which was wonderfully prepared for the 4 of us. Everything was prepared with attention to detail. A baby bed was also provided very quickly upon request. The breakfast was very nicely prepared and there was something for every taste. Rarely have I experienced such friendly, flexible and hard-working guesthouse owners.Thank you again for saving our sister's wedding weekend!

Very friendly and accommodating owners.One of the oldest houses in town, the floor creaks accordingly. But everything is spotlessly clean and the breakfast is prepared with love.

It's a very cozy little guesthouse. Ms. Schmidt is really nice and accommodating and overall we and our guests were very satisfied. The decoration of the wedding room was also very special. Highly recommended!

We had a pleasant stay at the Pension zur alten Post. The room was clean, tidy and quiet, the hosts were nice and friendly. The breakfast was good and commendable with rolls from the bakery.We can recommend this guesthouse without reservation.Röhrdanz family

Top price/performance ratio!! Very nice innkeepers. You immediately feel at home. Rooms are very well maintained and clean. Breakfast is simply TOP for the price! Thank you very much for the lovely stay with you. We'd love to come back.

We had to look for new accommodation at short notice because our actual guesthouse had occupied our room despite paying. Thanks to the very nice and courteous operators of this guesthouse, we got an excellent place to stay overnight. Highly recommended!
