We were a larger group and were able to get a seat in the beautiful beer garden. The choice of food is small, but everything is freshly prepared. The mixed salad with raspberry dressing was particularly delicious. Unfortunately, two new employees started working today, a pensioner and a student who would like to earn something extra. Not everything went smoothly and the food was sometimes mixed up or drinks arrived a little later. The owner apologized profusely and there was coffee on the house.😊 But no matter, you can be lucky if there is still staff and that has to be trained first.🤷🏼♀️Finally, the non-alcoholic violet cocktail should be mentioned. Sounds strange, but very tasty. With that in mind, dear Daniel, we would be happy to come back and thank you for the lovely evening. 😊

The three of us went to the Waldschänke for lunch today. The atmosphere is very rustic. It's nice that what was built many years ago is preserved. The card is great. A bit of everything. Beautifully designed. The food tastes excellent. Freshly cooked. The service is very friendly. What makes me very sorry for the entire catering industry is that there are hardly any staff. The waitress had an incredible amount of work to do, had to cover long distances and the gentleman was very friendly despite the amount of work involved. Even apologized. For us it was perfect. Everyone should have a little understanding. It would be helpful if you reserved in advance, then the calculation could be different. There are so many who can sit at home and work. A real shame. All the best for the Waldschänke and we would love to come back!!!!

Visiting friendsI always enjoy coming back here. The food is a feast for me, as are the beer specialties and drinks. What particularly stands out is the extremely friendly service and the rustic interior is great!I have been able to convince myself of this several times and would love to come back!My tip: ask about the events :-)

The staff at the Waldschänke is very attentive and proactively asks if everything is OK or if there is anything else that could be wrong. The menu is small but the food is always fresh and tasty. The quality is also top. The restaurant is quietly located next to the forest and invites you to linger, no matter what time of day.

Very nice restaurant with a beer garden. Very good cuisine and friendly service. Despite the very busy location, fast service and a reasonable time to be served a freshly prepared meal.
