Good for the extremely cheap price. If you expect something fancy you should consider spending money. This is great if you need a spacious place to sleep and have a quick shower.

Absolutely okay for the price. It's not a star hotel, but an absolutely down-to-earth holiday apartment. I recommend putting insect screens on the windows, then it would be perfect (for me haha).Otherwise, my room is clean, tidy, has a fridge and 2 hotplates, the bus to Burg leaves less than a 2-minute walk from the house and the beach is just around the corner.(Shared) toilets and shower are clean, but the shower head is really not pleasant 🥲 It sprays everywhere, but not on your head 😅After my fight with the bed sheet, I was able to fall asleep relaxed yesterday; the mattress is okay.It is very quiet, despite families with children in the house. You only hear them when you walk past the doors, which makes me particularly happy 🫶🏻The owner is really friendly & always available, I really appreciate that. Thank you for that.We are looking forward to the next 3 days 🫶🏻Nancy & Kenji

The apartment we had was okay. It is always important for us to bring a dog with us. It was clean and functional. Having to make the beds yourself wasn't a problem for us. We would use the accommodation again and again.

Book economy and expect first class.I took the time to simply read the reviews. Of course, I can understand that people don't think the furniture, which is a bit outdated, is that great.Even though there are corners here and there that don't meet our standards of cleanliness, to be honest, just pick up a rag and it's fine!Maybe you should also consider that there are certain things that are more relaxed up here when it comes to cleanliness, just relax!I often travel for work,I've left more money in some hovels than here. Price-performance ratio is right thereFrame.It was a great vacation and don't forget, you will make your vacation an unforgettable experience.We didn't regret our decision to spend 14 days on vacation here, the goal was to escape from normal everyday life and to ground ourselves, which was completely successful!Thanks to the landlord and the busy bee caretaker.Who always had an open ear for our concerns!

Super nice reception. Lots of space to develop in the outdoor area. Enough space in the apartment too.In my opinion, you shouldn't be nitpicky about the apartments and the furnishings, it's comfortable, everything is there. If some people handled other things more carefully, they wouldn't wear out so quickly. At home, people usually take good care of their things. But most of the time accommodation is only there for sleeping anyway, because on holiday you usually spend time outside, because on the Baltic Sea there are enough opportunities to develop, no matter what the weather. People who are satisfied with the little things in life and appreciate them are in the right place. What was most important to us was the friendliness and the feeling of being welcome, and that was given to us.

I spent five nights at Haus Marinus with my daughter. We had a room with a single kitchen; The bathroom and toilet were directly opposite our door and were used by a total of 4 rooms.Puttgarden is a small village with not too much going on. It is located directly at the ferry port from which you can cross to Denmark every half hour. It's very quiet there, you have to drive a bit to shop and do things. The (quite stony) beach can be reached with a relaxing walk within 15 minutes. Overall, it is a very quiet place, great for breathing deeply and switching off.The accommodation is simple, but completely sufficient, and very cheap. The cleanliness was okay, especially considering that the housekeeper seems to be solely responsible for the entire property (I estimate 8 rooms and 7 large holiday apartments) and neither a cleaning company nor a laundry service is hired. The house is quite noisy, which can be unpleasant depending on your neighbors and your need for peace and quiet. The TV in our room didn't work and the WiFi was rather mediocre, but we weren't on vacation to stare at screens, we were out and about most of the time anyway.The housekeeper was very nice. The outdoor area is well maintained, there is a barbecue area that can be used at any time.Conclusion: Haus Marinus is not for people who want hip, stylish, sparkling clean accommodation with an entertainment program, room service and crisp bed linen. But if you are looking for a cheap place to stay overnight, you will find it here.

We were there for the first time 3 years ago and were dissatisfied with the property manager at the time. The cleanliness left a lot to be desired and friendly looks different too. Nevertheless, we had a nice vacation. Last year we were there again at short notice and the lady in charge of the property was very nice, everything was clean and well maintained. We would now go there again and again. And that with 4 children and 2 dogs. :)

Nice rooms at a suitable course. Of course there are flats or apartments that are in better condition or have been more recently renovated. However, it is very sufficient for our needs.The possibility of parking and the use of a barbecue area are included in the price.I can also imagine vacationing in this accommodation in the future.
