Someone (presumably the staff) opened our door early in the morning (using a key card) and looked inside our room while we were sleeping. This happened for both our rooms. Totally unacceptable behaviour for a hotel!In the morning, the staff was nowhere to be seen, so we just had to give our key cards to the cleaning personnel.The food in the restaurant was very tasty and the staff and service in the restaurant was good too, but I won't be staying here again.

I would not recommend this place to anyone at all.We were woken up before 8 in the morning by the cleaning staff who just opened the door and went into our room. Luckily we woke up from it, but I dare not think if the person in question could have looked in our things if we hadn't woken up.Besides this, there was no staff at the reception when we had to hand over the key, so we had to hand over the key to the cleaners when we left.The place is also far out in the countryside, so there is absolutely nothing nearby.There is the bare minimum in the rooms, but for the price i would rather just look for something in Hamburg.I am definitely not coming back to this place, especially not when you are woken up by the cleaning staff who just open the door and walk in.

Great place! Good rooms, affordable but still clean and tidy, close to autobahn, most importantly GREAT service. We were super late because of weather and they solved it for us so we could check in anyway and that really saved us.

There is nothing wrong with this hotel. The food was good, the bed was good, the room was clean. The shower is challenging though but otherwise no negative comments.||Yet we both felt unsatisfied with the place without being able to say exactly why.||Will we go here again? Not unless needed.

We were extremely happy with our stay at Der Tanzhase as the room was spacious and very tastefully decorated - everything was brand-new and it looked like we were the first guests to arrive after it had been renovated. …

The room was cleaned nicely and we did get help with getting the room key right away.There was what you could need in hotel room, but this place is more for short stays.Negative points included only cold water, no note with the WiFi password, very thin walls so you could hear everything and upon arrival (at 10pm) we arrived and found small boxes on the wall we figured contained the room cards. However no code was given before arrival, so we had to call a number and wait shortly for the host to arrive and unlock it.She did however, come a few minutes after the call, we got the card key and navigation to the room so that part was alright.

The hotel was okay. The check was a bit complicated cause it was closed. The rooms where clean, but a bit run down. The walls where thin and you could hear the neighbors. The shower only had cold water.We arrived late night and left early morning, so if you just need a place to sleep, this is cheap and an alright place.
