The room was ok, but the curtains weren’t able to keep out the outside light. There was construction right in front of the hotel and the windows couldn’t block the noise.Dust could be found all over the room, especially behind the tv and the carpet floor too.In the morning the housekeeper knocked on the door to see if he could start cleaning, even though it was still early (10 am and checkout was only at 12 o’clock). The best part was the location, close to the main attractions but on and relatively calm street.

Moin! Hotel B&B was the perfect start to our Baltic bicycle trip, beginning during Kiel Week! The staff were all friendly and helpful. They helped us stow our bikes, suggested sights, sounds and dining in the innenstadt, and made us feel at home. My only wish is that we could have stayed longer! 5 stars!

Stayed here before our cruise. The room was clean and we were lucky to get a parking spot right out front.

Breakfast could be a bit more diverse than only 2 types of cheese and 3 of sausage. Also I had the feeling they prepared everything before breakfast and than nobody came to check what needs to be filled (first day there were no eggs an hour before the end of the breakfast, second day the milk was empty already). Also tables were dirty for previos guests.Room was clean and had everything necessary. Internet is not so good.Comparing to the low price I am satisfied and I will come back to B&B.

I had a disappointing experience at this hotel. After making a full online payment and checking in, I arrived with my 4-year-old child at around 10 PM. The front desk informed me that children over 2 years old were not allowed to stay, which was unexpected. They consulted their manager and eventually allowed us to stay for an extra fee, covering air conditioning, roof use, and taxes. This fee seemed unjustified as no extra services were provided.I later checked my reservation confirmation and found no mention of the child policy or the additional fee. Despite showing the confirmation, the front desk insisted on their system's rules, without showing me. I had made the reservation through the official website, which also didn't indicate these rules. While I understand hotels can have their policies, clear communication is essential. I felt the on-the-spot charge was unreasonable, especially since it wasn't mutually agreed upon during booking. I asked to speak to the manager, but was told to email instead.Though I maintained a calm demeanor, I ultimately paid the fee to avoid further hassle. The next day, the front desk mentioned the manager's availability, but when I left early, no one was there. This experience stood out as unfriendly, which was surprising given my previous experiences in Germany.I recommend that the hotel improve its communication of policies and avoid unexpected charges, to ensure a more transparent and guest-friendly experience.

As always great stay at the hotel. Sign in and access code received up front so everything is really efficient. Price and value are good. right in the city center and parking on the street not so expensive and or free at night. The standard is good.

I stay at BnB Hotels quite often and am always very happy with my stays. The staff is really nice and polite. The rooms are really clean. The decor of the rooms is standardized so no matter where you stay, you always have the same experience with your stay. Though despite all the tips and signs for saving energy and reusing towels, the towels were still changed when I hanged them to show that I would reuse them. Which absolutely speaks for the cleanliness of the hotel but not exactly for the ecological appearance. Still a very pleasant stay and I am already looking forward to the next time I am staying with BnB.

I had the best sleep in ages there. Sheets are soft, rooms are quiet. Breakfast is great. Personel is friendly and always agreed to book taxis for me when needed. My colleagues who were at another more expensive nearby hotel were not as satisfied!

We got stranded due to a train strike in Kiel and found here a affordable and very comfortable room for one night on very short notice. The hotel was very recently renovated, very clean and modern. The rooms have heatpumps which is not only very convenient but also environmental friendly.
