For tents there are many places in the forest and the meadow. Quiet camping and very close to the national park. It's an hour long walk to the sea if you want to swim. We received a key for the gate and were led to the tent area where we were free to choose our site, no hassle. Shower works with coins.

Rented a little caravan for the weekend at this beautiful and calm campsite. Its in the middle of the forrest next to a number of hiking trails that get you to the magnificent white cliffs. The campsite has all you need to experience a weekend away in nature: its very calm, the bathrooms are very clean (you pay a bit for warm showers, you can get shower coins at the entrance), there are camping tables in shadow and in sunny spots, and you can order fresh bread for in the morning. Perfect for a weekend away from the city. I did not experience the rudeness of the people working here like some describe below. To us, they were kind and helpful. I will definitely come back here again in summer and enjoy the nature and calmness of Rügen.

Very unfriendly, rude and condescending owner. I was instructed that I am in Germany and I should not use english but german. Reception lady speaks english but doesn't want to. I wasn't alowed to chose spot. Wanted to stay 2 or more days, but cut to one. Facilities ok, average. Clean and tidy. I strongly do not recommend this camp site because of staff. Location is ok, though.

the gate keeper or watchman behaves like a crazy, dangerous person: he assaults verbally and is very aggressive. The staff is very arogant and unfriendly. Never again such an experience

Beautiful quiet place in the forest. Lots of space BUT I have never come across such unfriendly personnel on a campsite. Unbelievable from the minute we arrived. Such a shame as the place is lovely.Edited…. I wrote the review before we left which was a mistake as he came early the following morning and questioned us about it. I was still half asleep! It was an uncomfortable feeling even though I had done nothing wrong. The guy on reception was not welcoming when we arrived. It wasn’t clear where we should go. He made me wear a mask in reception which was fine but was rather grumpy about it but then other people came in and he didn’t make them wear a mask. We we told off the following morning for putting hammocks up even though other people had them up. It damages the trees but washing lines are ok… The restaurant lady was unfriendly when we asked about booking a table so we ate elsewhere. We needed tokens for the showers which would have been nice to have been told about when we arrived and not when we needed a shower in the evening when reception was shut.I would not go back here but only due to the personnel.

Nice campsite. Quiet place, nice experince to camp so close to the forrest, Waking up in the morning, to birds singing and the wind in the trees.Direct connection to hiking trails in the national park.Facilities clean and nice (some old, but clean).Friendly staff. Good humor! (Maybe some of the bad reviews misunderstood this)

Absolutely loved camping here for the weekend. Other than the famous, Jasmund Nationalpark, there is literally so much to explore around this camp site. Even though the staff couldn't speak English, they were patient, friendly and helpful. During our stay, the utilities areas (shower, kitchen) were always neat and clean. There's also a playground for children and small football field. Cherry on the top — there's a great sunset view spot in a walking distance. In a nutshell, we had a good experience here. Highly recommended!

After parking our van in two other campings in the area, the third night we stopped here because it was the closest to our destination. We were very pleasantly surprised by the location, the amenities: bike rental, small playground, nice shower area, giant chess game, cooker, hot water, anything that one needs to feel clean and to make things easy. Perfect for tents, own caravans, vans. And you can also rent a nice caravan with a terasse.

Having booked a spot here very last-minute and having read some of the bad reviews, we were a bit wary of what to expect of this campsite. However, this place has exceeded all of our expectations!Even though it was peak-season and even though we booked very late, we got a beautiful spot under the shadow of the high trees, overlooking the fields and the sea in the distance.Communication with the owners was fine, even though our German isn't great, and the campsite is green, clean and very peaceful. You really do feel as if you are in the middle of the forest. Bathrooms were very modern and clean and we didn't have to wait in line once.We will definitely return here!

We came through on our bicycles, and what a lovely area. Beautiful tall pines trees and good facilities. Lovely sunset viewing spot as well.
