Great location on the boardwalk and steps to the wide open beach. The rooms are basic and the lobby is tiny. However, if you are looking for an affordable spot to use for sleep right at the beach in town, this is a fine choice.

Been there with my two sons (8y, 11y) in a family room.||The location is perfect. Directly at the beach and a 10 min easy walk from the train station and a 5 min walk to the city centre and pier. We even had sea view from our room. …

Accommodation in Ostseebad Binz on Rugen Island is expensive, at least during peak season in July and August. To stay in the hostel is an option to save some money, but you won't save much compared to what you need to give up. …

Its an pretty good place. Pretty down-to-earth standard (bunkbeds), very simple room, showers and toilets you share with the rest of the floor. Everything is clean though, showers work properly (ie hot water, good water-pressure, clean, not crowded) ;)breakfast was pretty good, decent selection, havent even expected to get this good selection in this 'hostel'.Lady serving us was pretty informal (which is OK for this kind of accommodation) but yeah..i suppose she gave us all we needed.downsides - not exactly cheap. 30EUR/night with b-fast per person (so 3 of us paid almost 100EUR for a room...which is like 20-30EUR standard room considering no toilet/shower) and you pay extra for internet which doesnt work in your room, only common areas.LOcation is really good though. Right by the sea, in the center of the really nice little town.
