Located in a very very beautiful neighborhood. Great service. The quality of the rooms are acceptable but the noise of the ground during night is not ok. Also bathroom was not totally clean. By the way it is very close to the thuringen forest then it is fine.

We had a very good night's sleep here. A quiet environment, very clean room and friendly house with reasonable prices. Highly recommended if you simply need accommodation for one night.

We have been using the accommodation as an overnight accommodation for our Rennsteig hike with two school classes each for two years. The building is perfect for large groups.The service is great, clean rooms and decent food.

We held a family celebration for 45 people at Haus Rosenbaum. Everyone spent the night there and the morning after we had breakfast together. Everyone really liked the cozy atmosphere of the house, the tidy rooms (each with their own bathroom) and the excellent food. The staff at the house gave us excellent advice and support as hosts. The value for money is great. I would celebrate there again at any time and can recommend it without reservation! Many thanks to Haus Rosenbaum!!!

Very nice accommodation e.g. for larger groups, the Rennsteig is a piece. behind the house. Other hikes can also be undertaken directly from there with beautiful panoramic views. The rooms are all equipped with a TV, toilet and shower, even the panoramic view when you get up is worth it. Whether it was fog, sun, drizzle or snow, the area offered a beautiful view even during a storm. The Rennsteig is long, beautiful and impressive. Haus Rosenbaum offers you the perfect accommodation close to hiking trails. 👍⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⁹

I was part of a youth group that stayed at Haus Rosenbaum for a week. Basically, the house has great options (large seminar room, outdoor area, etc.), but we were ultimately disappointed for the following reasons:- Not enough barbecue facilities for a larger group- House and grounds are not necessarily maintained/cleaned and are outdated- House description online does not correspond to what can be found on site- angled kitchen with little storage space and cooling optionsWe still found ways to cope with the circumstances and had a week, but I still wanted to pass this on here.
