Stayed here a total of 11 weeks over the last few months for work, and this place has been the best hands down. The staff is super friendly, and are English speaking which is amazing. They clean the rooms very well and are very attentive to any needs. The restaurant has phenomenal food with a cozy atmosphere. Definitely made my work trip a pleasure! Thank you guys so much!

Hotel might be seen as old fashion or better traditional style. Accommodation has been average due to missing details. Rooms seems clean, but wardrobe has faulty doors which I was unable to properly close. …

Typical hotel of Meiningen, medium level but not exceptional ..||Wifi is working perfectly, breakfast is nice but essential .. not a big choice, orange juice is commercial.||I like more modern hotel in the area.||I don't think I will come back.

A small and fine hotel in a very good location. The rooms are small, but completely sufficient for an overnight stay. The staff were very friendly and nice, the hotel was quiet and the breakfast was excellent.

When I was in the Schlundhaus in Meiningen for the first time, the outside appealed to me! But after spending 3 nights in bed, I looked like a crumb cake. Bed bug bites all over the body. Now some time has passed and I'm back in the Maw House... Let's see what awaits me this time. Otherwise it's a nice hotel, but unfortunately the ravages of time are eating away at the whole thing...

Small rooms that need to be overhauled, no minibar, but very cluttered with furniture. The breakfast buffet is very small, not very varied, but you can get enough. Coffee, tea and juice are available.There are no drinks in the rooms.The reception is only open from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. Anyone arriving at other times must contact the owners by telephone.The location right in the center is very good.The house does not have an elevator.The room price is clearly too high for the comfort offered.

Very rustic small hotel with very friendly staff. Direct location in the center, about 600 meters from the State Theater, which was very important to us. It can get a little louder from the market square. At night the three tower clocks are not exactly inconspicuous when the window is open. The room was well arranged and clean. There is only a need for action in the bathroom, but that was probably due to understaffing due to illness. The breakfast is simple but completely sufficient. We'd love to come back.
