Stayed there two nights. Clean, well kept. Friendly service by the owner. Good breakfast. Calm atmosphere. Quite thin walls, which may cause problems if the neighbours are noisy.

I booked the room in advance via email. A friendly written reservation confirmation was also returned. When I arrived at the hotel quite exhausted after a long (hiking) day (I was on the green belt with a friend), it went like this: First I answered the bell. A short time later the owner arrived drove up by car and took us to the reception. This was followed by the question of how I had made a reservation and a telephone call as to which room he should allocate. When I asked for something to drink (I was pretty dehydrated because I had run out of water in the backpack's drinking bag some time before and there was no way to refill it) he just said that there was nothing here and just sat there ☹️ - I would have at least gotten up and gotten a glass of tap water...He then said that there was probably nothing to eat in town and then asked what time breakfast was. When I arrived in the room, I discovered that it was pretty run down and dirty...especially the carpet. When I was showering, the selector button on the hand lever mixer fell apart, so I was worried for a moment that I wouldn't even be able to wash off the shower gel.For dinner we have pizza from the delivery service.I can't judge the breakfast at this point...but I'll do it later.Addendum: Breakfast was okay so far 👍

OK for an overnight stay if you don't get a room opposite the kitchen. From 4 a.m. this serves as a communal kitchen for permanent guests. Staff very friendly and breakfast completely ok. Unfortunately there is no restaurant nearby so off to Sonneberg. Recommendation....Lutherhaus.

The reception is friendly and helpful. |The rooms are functionally furnished and clean. The house seems to be of a certain age if you look at the creaking wooden floors, but that's not a criticism. …

A small nice hotel everything you need pension breakfast. If you have to leave the house early then a packed lunch was put together. I was completely satisfied with my room. The room does what it needs to sleep. A bed a table. Free WiFi and customer parking. Shopping center nearby have
