I simply enjoy this hotel so much. Peenemünde is a hidden gem in the German baltic. The hotel offer very comfortable pet friendly apartments with kitchen, which for me is a real plus. It has two sides the morning sun apartments and the afternoon sun apartments. Just awesome. They also offer perfect rustic houses for rent if you are bringing the whole family. The beach serving Peenemünde is just perfect with transparent clean waters and white sands. Pure nature. The town doesn't offer much off season, but if you like me that enjoy all seasons alike, this is the place you to come to - and let's not forget without Peenemünde there would be no man on the moon.

The apartment was very nice, well equipped, clean and super location. My rating is a reflection of the experience that l and my friends had when checking out and settling the bill for four rooms, 2 nights.Having prepaid 50% using credit card, we were told we had to pay remainder in cash, no cards accepted. Had this been made clear during online booking or when checking in, fair enough, we would have accounted for this. But to be unexpectedly told cash only by an unhelpful and arrogant lady at reception was a shame.

Nearby the Toy museum. In the middle of nothing! Notice, first cash automat is 7 km away at Karlshagen, many good restaurants there too!

We spent our summer vacation here with our dachshunds and we will definitely come back 😊 we really, really liked it. We stayed in one of the log cabins and they are really beautiful!! Because Peenemünde is located at the extreme northern tip of Usedom, the place doesn't have a classic promenade like the other places and there isn't a direct beach there, it is very, very quiet in the evenings, even in high season. We really enjoyed that. There is a lot going on during the day because of all the museums in town, but that wasn't a problem. You have a lot of space, you're in the middle of nature and you can explore the island by car or bike and of course go to the beach 😊 There's also a lot to discover in Peenemünde itself, it's definitely worth spending a few days there to stay a week!

I was pleasantly surprised by this place. The surrounding area of the holiday cabin I was in was perhaps a little messy. But the cabin itself was quite nice and well furnished. However, the bathroom, and especially the shower, was quite small. But it was to survive. The service was generally fine, it's a must to know German here as the staff does not immediately know appreciable English, and luckily it went ok.The location itself was quite nice if you are coming to visit the local technical museum.

Nice area, a little away from mass tourism. We had a detached holiday home with partial sea views. Price a bit overpriced - for example because there is no sea view as advertised (house 7). Also that the parking space in front of the house is charged extra… Not so nice. The house's furnishings are otherwise completely fine. You can book breakfast for €12 and it is really prepared with love and an eye for detail. Excursion options from here are completely okay. In the evening, enjoy a cold beer or wine in the kite bar and listen to the music. Very suitable for slowing down, but we wouldn't stay here longer than 6/7 days. Given that dogs are allowed in the resort, there are far too few trash cans - we always had to look for something to dispose of with the bags of our four-legged friend's waste 😃

Both the wooden huts, the hotel rooms and the campsite: everything is made with love and invites you to linger. We have already taken a few vacations and short trips to the peninsula with friends and were able to indulge in idleness and, above all, the beautiful landscape there. Plus a beer and a fish sandwich. Always a pleasure.

We were here with a group, spread over different rooms, over three nights to relax and enjoy nature or, in other words, to just get out and unwind. According to the website, this should also be possible here, but unfortunately the reality was completely different. But first things first:Room: The room smelled disgustingly of cigarette smoke from the time we arrived until the time we left. The in-house dishes were almost always not clean and there was a thick layer of dust on the cupboard. Otherwise everything else was okay.Ambiance: You have to get used to the visually overwhelming power plant from wartime, as well as the historic warships that largely shaped the surroundings, and they are a little strange even for me, although I'm actually very enthusiastic about this sort of thing. The real problem, however, was that, contrary to the house rules, which prohibit the playing of music after 10 p.m., the operator himself played techno music at a high volume in his advertised "Kite Bar" until 1 and 2 a.m. on two of our three nights had it played so that we could still hear the music in our room, 400 meters away, even with the window closed. For some of our fellow travelers, some of whom camped in motorhomes much closer to the bar, sleep was out of the question. This is an absolute no-go!As a result, I would explicitly advise anyone who wants a relaxing holiday not to go on holiday here. This is by no means a natural exploitation goal but rather a nuturdisco.
