Nice place to stay for the night before/ after hiking mount ijen. The owner greeted us when we came in the afternoon, showed us our room and where there is free coffee and tea and then she left for the night. She was always available over the booking.con app though, which was perfect as we wanted to rent gas masks (20k) had other questions later on. She was really helpful! In the morning (or midday as we came back around 1pm) she made us delicious pancakes with fresh fruits for “breakfast”. So good!The amenities are basic and with ants around, but good enough.

Highly Recommend this place, a great stay here and perfect if you are planning on hiking Ijen. Owner is very friendly and helpful. Great breakfast in the morning too included.

So, I don't know where to start...Already, the place has changed address so the photos are not contractual.I've been visiting Asia for 6 months, and this one is in my top 3 worst homestays hands down...As we arrived, the bathroom was not clean. A hard pipe without a shower head, for the sink it is a flexible pipe that goes to the floor. There are lava stones in the bathroom which gives a special taste... let's say dirty and almost impassable without flip-flops. The furniture was so old that cockroaches were living there. We can add 2 frogs, 1 gecko and an anthill which had taken our bag as a second home. Afterwards in Asia, we know the animals in the room but this was too much!The soundproofing of the room is not the best either, the teenagers who manage the establishment make a lot of noise. They also don't speak much English, which is a problem when you ask them for services like laundry... they don't know how to answer...The pompom arrived in the night when a heavy downpour arrived and the ceiling started to leak onto the bed!The next day, after a fried breakfast, I indicated to the owner by message because we had never seen him, that I was not very happy with the service of the room, the dirt, the animals and the drops on the bed. I was told "what can we do about it" and "and what are you going to do now that you are here..." I indicated that I could not pay the price of this room given the service and the false description of the accommodation (we're still looking for the swimming pool!)When we were in the city, they took the liberty of opening the padlock to our room and asking us to leave as quickly as possible while putting pressure on us from the gang of teenagers who manage the accommodation....Unfortunately, this accommodation should be avoided and avoided despite its location near the station to then go to my Ijen.

Very good accommodation with a super nice host. We immediately felt at home. Very helpful and good tips for the area. The vegan breakfast was fantastic! A clear recommendation and within walking distance of the train station.

You will be very well received!The accommodation has changed address compared to the photos, so it is no longer directly in the guest house.It's close to the station and surrounded by nature.The hosts can speak French and English (and Indonesian of course).They give very good advice and are very kind.

What a lovely place & host! We were welcome with open arms, had really delicious breakfast & lovely rooms. If you so the ijen tour over the hostel you will have the best tourguide Sule in the banana-crew.

Got a room that was exposed to the sun, it was really hot during the day, there was no AC, it was dirty without a mop. It's no good luck staying here.
