Great Hotel in Gunzenhausen, really nice staff and a feeling like being at home. Good breakfast and lots of advice on what to do in that area. If you are keen on fishing this is especially the right place to stay as they have excellent knowledge on this.

Had a very nice fishing weekend. I can only praise the hotel, the boat rental company and the owners highly. The hotel is very clean, everything you need is there and we were well looked after. We booked two boats directly with the room, boats were brought to the water, loaded and everything was taken care of. Boats were equipped with depth sounders and electric motors. All I can say is that everything was great. Our two days of fishing were successful thanks to the good tips and brought us some great fish.Thank you very much again and we will definitely come back.

Uwe and his wife made everything possible for us 4 anglers on our fishing weekend. We had a great service, with boat transfers in the morning and evening, important advice on fishing, dinner etc. The room was also great. We have rarely seen someone take such care of you. We didn't miss anything. For us it was a 5 star + weekend

I think the price for one night is way too expensive! The boats they rent out are nothing but rip offs!! The boats' batteries are outdated and don't last half a day. So be careful how far you travel with it, otherwise you may end up rowing! The electric motors are also falling apart. The prices are 80 euros if you get it yourself and 100 if you have it brought to the lake. Missing echoes will still be charged, and even if you pick up the boat yourself they try to charge 100 euros. It's now a real junk shop that you can't recommend to anyone!!!

Uwe and Sindy are great hosts. I spent a lovely week fishing there with my father. Everything fit perfectly. Boat, fishing, grilling, smoking, food, hotel... etc. I'd be happy to do it again

Very good location as a starting point for cycling tours. The rooms are clean and comparatively very spacious. The breakfast was varied and in any case sufficient. We were lucky that the hotel wasn't very busy. This meant that we were able to enjoy an individual look after the branches from Uwe, which was very tasty ;-) The homemade ham offered for sale is extremely tasty, but unfortunately it has almost been eaten. Overall “only” 4 stars for the “mishap” in the garden. We would book the accommodation again at any time and can recommend it without reservation.
