Spent close to a week here. The owners were super friendly and accommodating. They could understand my English perfectly which was very helpful when my hairdryer burned out and they supplied me with one to borrow. Although I did not partake in breakfast except the last day, it looked tasty with a wide variety of choices along with the staples of German faire. My room was super clean and the shower was great! The mattress could use an upgrade as there wasn’t much stuffing left in it. Overall I would highly recommend and I look forward to returning!!

Pension Weinig is a wonderful place for our yoga seminar.As organizers, we were looked after with a high level of presence and our participants also received careful feedback on all their questions and requests.The seminar room is bright and friendly with a clear atmosphere and the garden with the sun terrace is wonderful.As part of our workshop, we were provided with many delicacies from the kitchen.The rooms are inviting and lovingly designed.Overall, I can say: I'm so happy that we were able to find dates for our workshops again next year and I'm really looking forward to my time at Pension Weinig and the great support from Uta and Udo Weinig.

Very nice guesthouse, beautifully located. You can easily arrive by train and start hiking straight from your front door.The hosts are very nice, we immediately felt at home. The atmosphere is exceptionally friendly and relaxed and we were given very friendly and good advice on all questions (hiking rods, restaurant visits, etc.).We also really enjoyed the great breakfast that has already been mentioned many times and the sauna after hiking.Everything was great all around.We would like to say thank you again to Uta & Udo and will definitely come back again.

Very nice, quiet guesthouse in the castle park and close to the center. From here, many of the Rhön's highlights can be easily explored without a car.We stayed in the guesthouse for 1 week with a hiking group of 11 people, felt very comfortable and also got lots of tips from Uta about hiking destinations worth seeing and recommended restaurants in the area. The guesthouse was an absolute stroke of luck, and the weather was perfect too! Since there is still a lot to hike in the beautiful Rhön, we have booked another week for next year. Thank you for this lovely experience, dear Uta!

We were guests of Uta and Udo for a weekend. Very nice and open people.We explored the Rhön with our mopeds. Everything just fit perfectly. The weather cooperated (Udo ordered it especially for us 😉and there was also a public viewing in the castle garden)We were able to park the motorcycles in a garage 👍🏻We didn't miss anything at breakfast.We can only recommend accommodation to every biker. We spent a weekend at Weinig. We have never been welcomed so warmly! Very nice, child-loving and attentive hosts, delicious breakfast and the room was very clean.We would like to come again!

Welcome HomeWe were there to sew and felt very comfortable. Just like at home - only much better. Great hosts and sensationally fresh food awaited us. Hopefully we'll see each other next year
