Location of holiday apartments/bungalows:Pension Stranded is located in the “Waldsiedlung”. A small, very cute, quiet residential area with single-family houses and semi-detached houses. Behind the "Stranded" house is the first very chic garden and the first bungalows/holiday apartments (reminiscent of the somewhat Bavarian style from the outside). There are additional holiday apartments at the back of the bungalows. All at ground level too. The second garden is also there. This is even larger and there are e.g. Breakfast room (vacations can be booked with or without breakfast. We recommend self-catering, as the bakery and supermarket are within walking distance.)Table tennis table, communal grill, hammock, several seating options with tables, enough parking spaces, a small forest and access to the beach, only 200 meters away, from a total of two entrances (the other about 250 meters). The location near the beach is a dream! There are plenty of shopping opportunities within walking distance. Netto supermarket with baking station, 2 bakers, restaurants, snack bar.The Baltic family campsite is also right around the corner. There are other restaurants, snack bars, bars, small camping cinema, supermarket, bike rental, mini golf, children's playground, outdoor swimming pool and small indoor swimming pool, massages etc... every visitor can use this.Bus stop just a few meters away...the bus only takes about 5 minutes to get to the ferry to the old town/Warnemünde harbor. (The ferry takes about 5 minutes). Bus trip including ferry costs 2.30 euros per person.(It's about 45 minutes by bus to Rostock.)Parking spaces:There are only 3 parking spaces at the front of the house, which are almost always occupied. However, behind the guesthouse in the second large garden there are many more guest parking spaces. This can be reached via a somewhat hidden forest path. The owner explains the way.Equipment:The holiday apartments are all on one level, have standard furnishings and some things are in need of renovation - so don't expect luxury. However, the facilities are sufficient, as you are outside all day when the weather is good. Comfortable box spring beds, wardrobe, TV, radio, WiFi access, a mini kitchenette with 2 hotplates, refrigerator, kitchen utensils, toaster, coffee machine, microwave, kettle, small dining table with chairs, small bathroom with shower. In the dog owner bungalow there is only 1 induction hotplate and a large refrigerator with 2 freezer compartments. Perfect for BARF / fresh meat food for dogs.Beach:The fine, soft sandy beach is many kilometers long and also very wide. No stones on the beach or water. DLRG watchtowers are present at regular intervals. There is a dog section of the beach, but it is a bit too far away on foot. We went to the normal beach with our small dog (beagle size). The DLRG and all beach guests have nothing against it if the dog can behave. There are many children on the beach. In the evening around 6 p.m. most beach guests leave and then a lot of dog owners come and are allowed to hang out and run around everywhere. There is also a very nice beach bar at one of these beach entrances, 200 meters away. Delicious cocktails, beer, sausages etc could be bought there. Recommendation - The visit is worth it!!The owner:very personable and helpful owner.Dogs are allowed, the owner has one of his own. Conclusion:we are thrilled! It was a very nice vacation! We would always come back. The location is unbeatable and the prices are affordable. 1 point deducted because of the features and appearance. But it will be renovated a bit soon.
