Fantastic place, comfortable, clean and friendly to us English speakers with lousy German skills. Also, kids loved watching the animals get fed!

Really very nice accommodation. Our double room was very spacious, well-equipped and well maintained. We received a very warm welcome at check-in and were even escorted to our room.In terms of location, the accommodation is just under 5 minutes by car from the Erding thermal baths and you can reach Munich within three quarters of an hour by S-Bahn.

The Döllelhof is highly recommended. Since July 18th We are guests of the Baumgartner family. Unfortunately we have to go home soon. But now my feedback. To the landlady:Ms. Baumgartner is a very nice, friendly and helpful lady. She was always available to answer any questions. She gave us a warm welcome and gave us valuable leisure tips.About the location:Absolutely a dream. It's super quiet and cozy. From the Döllelhof, all important facilities such as supermarkets, bakeries, restaurants, Erding Therme, etc. can be reached on foot within a short time. The S-Bahn stop is also only a few minutes away.My tip: You can explore the area even better by bike.About the holiday apartment:The holiday apartment is very comfortably furnished. There is plenty of space. You can just feel completely comfortable. It was only quite warm in the sleeping area for the first few days, but that was just due to the climate. That's just the way it is when there's hardly a breeze.About the surroundings:There are some exciting facilities for families to discover. Among other things, you can take a trip to Bayern Park, Lake Chiemsee, Poing Wildlife Park or Munich. So we haven't been bored yet.All in all we are extremely satisfied. Many thanks to the Baumgartner family. We'd love to come back.

7 days holiday on a farm, our daughter is no longer of the age to see and pet all the animals, but she was very impressed with the May kittens at the Döllehof!Otherwise, a neat holiday apartment simply and simply furnished!I was missing a few utensils in the kitchen, such as: Teapot, cereal bowls and salad bowl...Very nice landlords who have a heart for animals and children!Thank you family Baumgartner…..

Recommended for couples or single travelers who are looking for clean accommodation in a very nice location and do not attach great importance to reliable promises from the innkeeper. We are very self-sufficient guests with few demands and were looking for an overnight stay near the thermal baths with animals. The two questions we had (whether it would be possible to arrive at 5:30 p.m. even though the normal arrival time is only valid until 5 p.m. and whether we could be present at the animal feeding, which always takes place between 4 and 5 p.m. anyway) were answered kindly by the innkeeper agreed, she even promised to arrive by 6:30 p.m. without asking. After a long journey, we arrived promptly at 5:30 p.m. The innkeeper was just leaving and we had to check in frantically. She was about to write us a note saying she wouldn't be back until 7 p.m. OK. Attendance at the animal feeding was confirmed when booking, upon arrival and on the day of feeding. Yes, 4 p.m. So we waited and waited for over an hour while the innkeeper led a herbal course with ladies and basically ignored us. When the bell rang at 5 p.m. the innkeeper announced that the animals had already been fed before 4 p.m. that day. When a complaint was made, the innkeeper's reaction was something like "tough luck, I don't know". Luckily we were able to pet the rabbits that were being dragged to slaughter. The room was stuffy and warm, the mattresses were hard. And the feeling that the guests are very low on the priority list remains. Unfortunately we are disappointed.

A truly ideal place if you want to visit Munich and its surroundings: you are 300 meters from the metro, Erding is a quiet and livable village. The lady who welcomed us was very kind, she doesn't speak English, but if you know German, she is very understanding and speaks very slowly. The rooms are very clean, bright and the bed very comfortable. In the bathroom there is everything you need and you feel at home.

We had a short but very nice stay at the Döllelhof. The apartment was clean and pleasantly designed. There were many animals on the farm for the children to admire, such as chickens, geese and cows. And in the surrounding area there were many great playgrounds, a large park and an animal park. There were also shopping opportunities in the immediate vicinity and the Erding thermal baths can also be reached in a few minutes by car. The only thing I can complain about is that the apartment wasn't entirely child safe. Child locks on the sockets and safety doors on the stairs would make it even more child friendly. Otherwise everything was great and we would like to come back.

Unfortunately, my daughter tested positive two days before the start of the trip. Communication with the hotel was very difficult. The lady at reception couldn't give us any information because the person responsible (her son) wasn't in the house. A further request via booking was completely rejected. (Booking would have accommodated us, but only with the hotel's approval) Cancellation possible with 100% costs. We didn't want that either, we just wanted a postponement. A nice and informative email asking for a different date or a voucher has remained unanswered to this day. Luckily, a friend and her children stepped in. This didn't really suit the hotel either, new email traffic was only rudely confirmed with "Check in by 6 p.m.". Sorry, I worked in a hotel myself and I would never have allowed myself to do that. One star for that. Since we are now in quarantine and have time, I can advise everyone to look in the area. I have now found many nice accommodations, even for little money. Personally, I am very disappointed with the behavior in these difficult times😔
