Very quiet location and perfect for large groups of children! There are many rooms, a large property and a beautiful playground nearby. The staff was friendly and willing to work together to find solutions to problems.

Bad food, cucumbers in the water, no options for shopping, hardly any WiFi and one of the staff is strange.We were hungry and had to eat a 5 minute dry tarine.(Plus our toilet smelled like urine)

We came here to all enjoy our school trip. But this facility didn't allow it... we arrived and we were immediately greeted by a smell that was terrible! Every 10 minutes there is a smell of manure. The rooms are more or less sufficient. The wallpapers are very disturbing because they were installed in a very unaesthetic way. There are animals everywhere on the windows - you could almost say they're a nuisance. There are also far too few closets for 6 girls. The beds had probably already had their best days behind them, you think it's collapsing. The food is very poor. For vegetarians there is one thing that is also very weak. Otherwise the food is ok but I would recommend taking 5 minute terrines or yum yum noodles with you. The only good thing here is the playground nearby.

Pentecost holidays in the village center of MeetzenThis hostel was a great place for the long Pentecost weekend. A wild bunch of children and adults had a lot of fun on the huge area. We were able to play beach volleyball and table tennis on site and there is also a great playground 2 minutes around the corner. The village and the whole area are wonderful in spring!In the evening we were able to sit comfortably around the campfire. However, the space on the huge site is not quite optimal. A neighbor (in the immediate vicinity) complained once quite clearly at a later hour. He lost his tone and slammed the shutters down again. Well, a nice conversation would have solved that quickly. So be careful and don't laugh too loudly by the fire...And now a few words about accommodation:We were self-sufficient. In the gastro kitchen, which has everything you need, there is also a very large freezer, a large refrigerator, large sinks, 2 dishwashers and a great gas stove. The convection machine was a blast for our bread, grilled vegetables and potato wedges. Next time we'll roast tons of schnitzel in the giant roaster... Although you can also grill outside. The great barbecue area on the terrace, where the evening sun has its full power, is mega.The rooms are very simple, as we expected according to the website, but everything is clean! That was most important to us. Of course everything is no longer as good as new and has certainly been heavily used by many school trips, but it's totally okay for us and our kids. School trip feeling with the oldies in the bunk bed...PS: I would make the specific number of beds more clear on the house plan on the website.The 35 of us also really liked the large breakfast room on the ground floor. If you need more space, there is a second hall directly opposite.The on-site support from Ms. Falk was also very nice and totally helpful! The communication/billing with Mr. Dahms is also very pleasant and quick.Huge thank you again to both of you. Keep it up!We'll be happy to come back in 2025!Excursion tip: Great swimming area at Röggeliner See in Klocksdorf. Ideal with a sandy beach, slides, toys and beach loungers. Rarely have I seen such a beautiful, well-kept facility. Unfortunately, the local natural lake is quite overgrown and not really suitable for swimming.

It was terrible there. I was there on a school trip, the staff was rude and overheard someone talking to their friends, the food was terrible, the curtains were broken before we arrived and it was blamed on us, there were spiders on the wall, we asked the staff about it and they just said "then get rid of it" as if it were our guest house, there was also mold on the walls and the nearest shop was 7 km away. Not recommended!

When we arrived everything was fine but when we read reviews in our room it got worse and we started to blame ourselves for things done by guests before us. The staff (man with mostly blue sweater) watches us and is rude. Not recommendable!!!!

Fat spiders are everywhere on the walls and the wallpaper is broken and is being patched up with plasterCurtains rods broken stains on the walls hair on the beds and bad food. Everything outside is totally run down.Just terrible.

The location is great, the garden is beautiful, but the rooms leave a lot to be desired, there was a hole in the window in the door, the bathroom was unkempt. Unfortunately, we do not recommend it.
